Be aware of kids sports and their practice days. I play roller derby with Redrum Renegades of Long Beach and we are there Sundays Mondays and Wednesdays 7-9pm. The traffic and head spin from just the football softball and soccer kids irate parents, can get pretty intense. Theres plenty of overworked parents who will fight tooth and nail for a parking spot. Make sure to arrive EARLY for your events of come 5-15 late and find parking!

The reason why I give it a four stars is I could not find a Roman Catholic Church and somewhere to go eat at I had my pet with me and he needed water and a senior citizen and we cannot find a place to eat and to go to church from the gas station but that all

Nice, huge park. If you have small children, theres a couple playgrounds. One is near the entrance at Studebaker & Barrios, near the senior center and skate park. Another is in from the entrance at Studebaker & Los ARCOs, near the big duck pond.

Parked under a shadetree in an out of the way spot watching the ducks geese and swans go about their daily lives. The squirrel overhead kept dropping leaves through my sunroof but other than that it was great. Nature in the city.

I love this park! Theres a lovely duck pond where you can feed the birds (just watch out for the geese!) On the other side of the pond you can take the kids to play at the playground. Really great park!

Extremely rude, incompetent parking staff. Line backed up onto main road due to staff taking to each other and not helping others with park questions. Park is nice but employees ruin it.

Generally a safe place to bring your kid.. If youre a younger or smaller teenager though, its a real good idea to have some friends with you if youre by the skate park hanging out.

Very popular community Park with a lot to offer on 600 plus green acres. Favorite picnic area for many locals (especially on weekends).
