I absolutely love this winery! The wine is amazing and the McGrail family and volunteers are so friendly and hospitable! The first time I visited the winery, I was so impressed with the wine, that I joined "The Holy McGrail" (cute wine club name!) and asked Heather if I could volunteer. As a gift, I give bottles of McGrail wine to my friends, family and coworkers, and every single person has loved it (in fact, many of them have told me it is their new favorite wine!) I highly recommend coming in for a taste... You are missing out if you dont!

McGrail winery is a must visit for people who are looking for some of the best wine (in my opinion) the Livermore Valley offers. The wine is all reasonably priced and when compared to wine from other larger wineries, the wine from McGrail is a steal! I am an official volunteer at another Livermore Valley winery and I always suggest people visit McGrail winery if they are new to the area. If you are looking to taste some amazing Cabernets in a beautiful tasting room, you have to stop by.

Ive been their twice, once for wine tasting and another for an engagement party. Really nice wine. Especially their "Bordeaux." The engagement party I attended their was lovely. The food provided was outstanding, it was all that anyone could talk about. The employees were helpful and friendly. Despite working on New Years Eve and having to deal with broken glasses and dropped bottles. A great place to have a company Christmas party or a wedding. Again, the food, fantastic.

Great winery. Friendly staff. All the wines i tasted were good, although their "thing" is the Cab. They have a good range of prices (starting at $20) so theres something for everyone. They do charge a tasting fee $10/person.

A nice drive out to the tasting room but it is a little further than other Livermore wineries. Known for their Cabernet and it was really good. Very good wine across the board. Bring a picnic and sit on the patio.

This place is great! All the wines we tasted were excellent, and the view of Livermore cant be beat. They are also dog friendly and have an awesome outdoor patio.

Wines are bit costly and even the wine tasting is costly, but they do have a good ambience and a sitting area.
