This winery used to be one of our favorites when it first opened into a few years back ,we have been to almost every winery in our pass port days as for this winery no loner needs our business is a great loss ! Today we had a picnic with friends that are members to the winery to congratulate their engagement ,as their 3 grand kids arrived with the parents we were all asked to leave due to the babies , we were down at the picnic area where there were only 4 other women sitting at picnic area not crowded and now we know why ! Our friends son that is a vice principle to a great school was going to order a glass of wine with the wine glass in his hand was snatched out of his hand and was asked to leave and take is 2 children . Back in the day we had 3 years of Mothers day picnics with lots of family members of the winery ,they now do not want any families to enjoy a special day with children . No kids aloud !! Be wear of this rude service at Clos la Chance , they are so stuffy. So today we desperately called Fortino Winery and asked if family picnics with children were aloud ? " Chads " reply was oh yes we do ,we also have a Bacce ball game for them to use in our nice picnic area . We enjoyed our day and will go back to Fortinos Winery any day !!

Clos LaChance = beautiful property, great service, wonderful hospitality. My girlfriends took me here for my birthday and we had a great time. We each got the regular tasting ($5) which included a taste of 5 wines. We found a table outside and enjoyed a wonderful picnic on their beautiful property. Michael helped us with our tasting and kept a watchful eye on our glasses. Even though we were sitting outside, every time he saw that our glasses were empty, he brought the next wine out to pour for us to taste.

I checked their website and it said they did tastings until 4pm. I drove an hour and arrived at 2:40. They stopped serving at 2:30 in preparation for a wedding reservation. A lady was standing at the door apologizing, and she suggested that in the future I consult the sign in front of the vineyard for up-to-date scheduling updates. O_o I suggest calling before going out of your way to visit this vineyard.

Love clos la chance I always go there on Thursday. But rock the heat was a good band great music, just thought it was tacky that they walked around with a plastic box asking for money from people who trying to have a good. The in your face tactics was working. No band should do that!

I love the staff, they are very professional and have a courteous demeanor. The wine, ground, and beautiful scenery are just beautiful. I would highly recommend a membership. I purchased mine on my first visit and have loved it ever since.

The grounds are nice and so was the service. We tried the limited tasting menu and none of the wines were impressive. The whites bordering on undrinkable. The estate is fantastic, If only you could bring your own wine.

Clos La Chance is probably the most scenic winery in the area. It sits at the top of a hill so you can look out over the vineyard and Cordevalle golf course. They also have a free bocce court. Wine tasting is only $5.

Beautiful winery with amazing views and scenery! A great romantic place to eat, wine taste or catch a show if youre lucky! Been here a couple times and it was epic. Come early though.
