Concannon Winery has become a go to spot for many of our family celebrations. A couple of years ago my sister and I treated our Mom to a "Paint n Sip" event for her birthday and the event was a smashing success! (The look on Moms face when she thought we were taking her to the yoga event was priceless!) Oh! My sister accidentally left her credit card at this event, and of course it was found, secured, and returned to her. Thank you to the staff for that! Since my sister moved to the Livermore area, weve been going to Concannon for Mothers Day. If theres a more popular day at the winery I cant imagine it! Last year we had reservations at Underdog, the restaurant on the property. Sadly we didnt have reservations for the lawn (yes, on the busy days you need reservations for the lawn) This year, older and wiser, we knew to lock in reservations early. I worked with Elizabeth from Concannon and wow - what service! Elizabeth was so patient and explained all of our options prior to the reservation period opening, which helped us decide what would work best for us. She called back on the day reservations opened, we secured reservations, and Im looking forward to spending Mothers Day with my Mom at Concannon. (thank you Elizabeth!!!) Its been fun to visit on random weekends, and I swear one of these days my sis and I will ride our bikes there! (Yes, they have bike parking!)

I have been going here since 2014 and have had a good experience just about every time; one time my wife and I went and just didnt feel the vibe from the server. You can taste many vines for the cost, if you join their club you can come for free and bring a few as well. I had lunch in the back and it was great; super view, very relaxing and more!

The wines presented for the tasting were each so unique, but really good! We luckily had Penny helping us out; she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She had all sorts of suggestions and tips, and made us more acquainted with the Livermore valley. Such an easygoing atmosphere and beautiful grounds. Would definitely go back next time!!

My daughter and I wanted to go to Concannon Winery this afternoon. The woman who answered the phone was curt & acted like we were bothering her with questions about entertainment availability today, prices, etc. Thus, we decided not to go. Ive never been to Concannon but suspect Mr. Garcia (above) is right on.

I was here 3 years ago and again this year, and the differences were staggering. It appears they have gone corporate and lost some of the charm from 2008. The staff was not friendly and some of the space was now occupied by a "trendy" wine bar that was tacky at best.

What a beautiful place to have a "Wine Festival" scenery is gorgeous, great wine, good food, music takes me back to when I was in "High School" and of coarse such a great friend "Cheryl" to invite me for the Labor Day Holiday" !

The site says they are open daily from 11am-430pm. We are here and yet they are not open and have left a message. Why would you post your hours and not be open? Wasted 45 mins driving here.

Amazing winery! Easily accessible off the Main Street but drive up and you get the secluded goodness. Their venue is gorgeous. A bonus perk if you manage to visit the barrel room!

Great place to spend a late morning or an afternoon at. Wine tasting is not expensive and offers a good selection of wines. Food on the patio is good, pairs well with the wine.
