With an extra day in San Jose, my fiance and I decided to try out a nearby vinyard. Without many reviews for any wineries in the area, we took a chance on Martin Ranch and are very glad that we did! Not only was the wine some of the best weve ever had (and weve done wine tours in Napa, Buenos Aires, Santiago, and around Italy to name a few) but the people were warm, welcoming, and very generous! If youre in the area, make the trip to Martin Ranch. You wont regret it! Were already planning our return.

Love this place! The wines are great, since is summer try the Sauv Blanc. Its amazing! Also love the educational aspect. Every time Ive gone, Dan (owner, grower, vintner) is there taking people into the barrel room to talk about a specific subject pertaining to wine making. Its always fascinating. Great place to be a member of the wine club. Lots of fun events.
