Best fish and planted aquarium store in the Sacramento Area. I would like to thank James, the owner, who been extremely helpful in setting up my 200 gal reef tank. James has unsurpassed knowledge in maintaining home aquariums. He specializes in all types of fish as well as aquatic plants, coral and even exotics species like sea horses. I firmly believe the community is best served by small owner operated stores such as Rivers To Reef. All the livestock were very well taken care of. Their staff is incredibly helpful and kind. They have very good looking livestock and are excellent at maintaining them. I bought a nerite snail and three amano shrimp here and the snail is going strong. I lost two shrimp but only because I forgot to close the lid. Excellent store and I will be a regular.

Great staff to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable about the aquariums and fish. I would highly recommend them to any aquarium enthusiasts. I bought my saltwater nano tank and fish from them and my fish are healthy unlike bigger name brand pet stores. Thanks again to all the staff at Rivers To Reafs for my wonderful aquarium.

By far the best aquarium shop in Davis and one if the nicest Ive ever been in! As a planted tank enthusiast, I can honestly recommend rivers and reefs to friends who are interested in starting a fish tank due to the clean setup, high quality fish, and amazing plant selection. Dont bother going into big name pet stores! Your best option is Rivers to Reef not only do they have a wide variation in fish but also in plants and other accessories. Nate is very helpful plus he was very patient & nice with my child. Will be going back for sure!!!
