Diablo Corals is definitely a unique place and one that I would suggest any reef/fish keeper visit (often). Jess is a really knowledgeable guy and very down to earth. Hes great to talk to, run ideas by him, and use him as a sounding board regarding corals or fish. This is by far my favorite reef/fish store to visit in the East Bay. Theres always great stuff here, even some one-of-a-kind corals that you see in magazines. Id recommend anyone to check it out, hobbyist or not.

Bought my first coral here, a pulsating xenia and the guys were super helpful. Its doing great right now and hoping to go back soon to ask what I should add next. Guys are the nicest people in the world and their selection maybe small, but theyre in excellent condition. The tanks are always clean every time I go there. My wife and I have been coming to this shop since shortly after it opened. He continues to upgrade equipment and corals all the time! He will do whatever it takes to keep people happy and coming back! It is about a 70 mile trip to this little gem and we dont mind the drive one bit!! It is all about the personalized service!!

This place is wonderful as the owner is very helpful in educating me about corals. He even got me a fish that I had wanted. Also, his prices are excellent. I will continue to buy my salt water from him as I would really like to see his business florish.

Online say they are open Sundays 11-6, door says 12-6, no biggie. Waiting until 12:20 still not opened, no note on door, nothing on answering machine, had to check their facebook page to find out their where closed for mothers day

Stopped by for the first time yesterday. This is a warehouse store. Makes most LFS look like the Apple store. But, the service was great, the selection looks strong and healthy, and I was able to get in and out in 5 minutes.

Excellent quality and knowledgeable staff. But the shop is a dump. Always cluttered and dirty with boxes, car stuff and messy reefing supplies everywhere. Hate actually going into the store.
