New updated review for ArcLight: Since ArcLight took over this location, they have really turned it around. The interior is much nicer and modern. Their bar seems like it can fit a good amount of people. The actual theater rooms have been upgraded with new seats. Theres actually air conditioning this time! They have machines in which you can either buy or print out tickets, making the process much faster. Culver City now has its own theater worthy of its movie-loving residents. --------------------------------- Older review: This is an older theater that probably hasnt been renovated in a long time. I saw Thor 2 here so the theater was packed and thats when I learned they either dont have AC or it wasnt working that day which made for a really stuffy theater room filled with the stench of old snacks and body odor. I almost wanted to step out because of how uncomfortably stuffy it was. I came back to watch Big Hero 6 at the final stretch of its movie run so there was only 1 other group in the theater room and it was much more bearable. Parking options include on the street, the parking garage at Trader Joes which is 2 hours free or the garage in downtown Culver which is also free for 2 hours. I wouldnt recommend this theater for a new movie showing.

VERY POOR RATING - THE WORST OF L.A.! I am so sad that this theater went downhill so far so fast. The rest of Culver City is blooming, with upscale vendors treating the clientele with respect and courtesy, yet the management of this theater is acting like its some pariah establishment from the bad part of town that needs to exhibit rudeness and power plays against its patrons. Very low class. And with great theaters popping up all around town offering quality movie-going experiences, it is strange to think that such a rude attitude from the staff here is even possible these days. The new management at the pacific culver is indeed so incompetent, so rude, and has so many poor new policies, that it truly interferes with any quality of a night out at the movies at their establishment. Hardly worth it, so I will stay far away from now on.

Saw spectre and the staff was great. Theater is very clean. Audio is incredible. Video has an issue on the screen, possible screen pixel burn or something in theater #3 at midnight screening for spectre. During dark scenes it was a very noticeable purple vertical blur. Was looking for staff or management to let them know but I could not find them so I went back to finish the movie. Very disappointed in the video but overall experience was superb. Just hate to give bad reviews but it was a cold night drive and sucks when youre already there and cant really do much about it but suck it up. Fix it arclight for other guests.

This is a ridiculous overpriced theater, I prefer The Grove or Century Cinemas if I have to compare. This theater isnt greater than most theaters now in LA, (just overpriced in a middle class neighborhood). Although customer service is okay, popcorn was cold and they do not have any refills on the most expensive combos we got. Forget it, for that price Ill go anywhere else where I am treated like royalty. I spent $70 for two and it did not meet my standards, parking is a pain in the neck as well. First and last time in this place.

The art deco building is that typical cinema architecture. Not my personal cup of tea but at least it doesnt clash with the nearby historical Culver City hotel. The interior offers a bar and a menu of eats to cater for the those that want to mix dinner and a movie. Theres a set of touch computer screens if you prefer to pick up tickets at the cinema. The movie experience is good and Ive never had a problem with noisy or disrespectful patrons. So this is a good place to catch a flic and grab a bite to eat.

Ridiculously overpriced and tragically unnecessary. I used to frequent the original theater at this location, but now I will never go again. I miss the good old days of attending the movies for nothing more than a film and the experience... I dont need assigned seating and insanely priced food and admissions to enjoy movie, which is probably why I (and more and more of America) opt to watch on the internet at home. Good luck, movie theater industry; you were killed by your own greed, not Netflix.

Whatever membership offer this theater chain has is pathetic. They really have no ethics and none of their rewards have ever worked for me. Not only that, they even denied honoring a gift card saying that it is not working because it has one less digit and their system does not recognize the card anymore. I did not conjure up the gift card or get it from the underworld. Their help center said go check with an associate at the theater, whereas the associate said call up the helpline.

Always had great experiences at the Arclight theaters in Sherman Oaks and Hollywood. Family had a terrible time at this new one in Culver City. It started when a rando came and sat next to them in an empty theater and was looking at his phone and taking selfies. When they moved toward the back of the theater there was a guy smoking back there. So weird. They left early and asked for a refund, but the "free tickets" they were given were just re-entry tickets to the same showing.

They turn down the brightness on their digital projectors and the sound is horrible. Over $70.00 for a matinee with popcorn and soda for 2 adults and one child with crappy dollar theater quality presentation is the reason this Culver City resident will not return. There were no refills either, not that youd want them for stale popcorn and soda with about half the syrup it should have. I dont mind paying extra for quality, but I wont pay extra for a fake premium experience.

I can never say anything bad about Arclight. Its my favorite movie theater chain by a landslide. The Culver location is one of their smaller and quieter locations. They have free parking (granted it is a little bit of a walk) and an excellent location. It is the spot my wife and I go to when we dont want to deal with the crowds at Hollywood. The only time I wouldnt come here is if I wanted to see a movie on a HUGE screen and/or IMAX. Over than that, flawless.

I like coming to this Pacific Theater because there is free parking across the street from here in the garages in Culver City. Another good thing about coming here is all the great nearby places you can walk to for dinner or lunch. This theater also has MONDAY MORNING MOMMY MOVIES. Select Pacific Theatres locations offer newly released films on Monday Mornings to accommodate parents with infants. The schedule of upcoming shows can be seen on their website.

I been here before never have had my bags checked ever. I saw 4 woman go inside no one checked there bags . But as soon as I approached so they can check my tickets. They needed to check my bags I felt a bit racially profile because the woman befor me were white . No I dont want anything free nor I dont want a refund I just thought I would never get racially profile at a movie theater. Last tike I would come here wonderful place but never coming back .
