The Spadena House was originally owned by an art director who worked in films in the 1920s. It was used as offices and dressing rooms for a movie studio until it was sold to a private owner. The house was also featured in several movies with the most recent being the movie "Clueless" in 1995. The house has become a major tourist attraction. If you visit the house during the day, you will see tour vans making a quick visit and people taking pictures of the house. The house itself is a sight to see. It has a unique design that you would only see on a movie lot. It really looks like a witchs house. Definitely, a must see if you are in the area.

I didnt get out of the car because I felt silly standing in front of someones private property, but my husband was totally willing to get out and take pictures. He said it was fun and worth a look -- and now Im kinda regretting I didnt look when I was in the area. Hop out and appreciate all the details that have gone into this little gem!

An interesting concept for a house.It really looks like a witch house. Another couple were here and also took pictures. Its close to one of the main streets through Beverly Hills, which I drove a lot, but never saw this house before. Its a hidden gem. Make sure you stop by. Dont pick the berries or the witch will get mad.
