A cute little aquarium. Something nice to do while youre on the waterfront but I wouldnt drive out to Manhattan Beach just to see the marine life here. They had a nice assortment of marine life and you can even touch some of them. There are two floors. Theres a cute little kids area upstairs with a small table and chairs with stuffed animals and puzzles. The staff were friendly. Its a very small place and tight fit so Id recommend going right before closing around sunset which is when we went. No admission fee but a suggested donation.

This small aquarium is home to a good variety of sea creatures! Comprised of two floors, it even has an education play area for kids, and a touch pool. Although free, donations are welcomed (there is a box right by the door). Most of the exhibits are on the first floor, but there is a good amount upstairs - including their active octopus! Pro tip - there are often kid specific events happening in the aquarium. If you have kids, check their calendar on their website.

I finally visited the aquarium. Unfortunately, things were not so nice. First, the marine animals look stressed and probably have diseases. The staff does not seem to care much about anything. I really hope that there is more money spent to improve the situation there. Also, dont go there when there are many kids, you experience total chaos. Not much to see but the giant eels and the leopard shark were cool. Also, you can touch starfishes.

The Roundhouse is a great place to take your family and friends. The have live sea animals that you can touch, cool sharks and fish to look at and a childrens area upstairs where kids can play with puppets and puzzles and read stories. Plus, its free! It has a great view of the Pacific ocean and everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again and again!

this is a great place to visit at the end of the Manhattan Beach pier. it is educational as well as entertaining. the views of the santa monica Bay. and the strand at Manhattan Beach and the strand at Hermosa beach are visible from here. there is also a small coffee and ice cream and beverages store here. its free to visit the aquarium. donations are accepted but not enforced.

This establishment is by far one of the most well-developed, creative spaces on the end of a pier! I greatly enjoyed my time spent there. Its great for all ages to spend a portion of their time there when in Manhattan Beach! Hope you all take my advice and go there!

This "aquarium" looked like a backyard DIY fish tank experiment. It looked really sad and poorly looked after...I just wanted to throw all those poor fish and creatures into the ocean to be set free as it looked so poorly run.

This is a really cute little aquarium located at the end of the pier. Admission is free (though donations are recommended), and they show fish from the local area. Theres also a few tanks where you can touch the sea life.
