To make this easier I am just going to paste an e-mail I recently sent to Linbrook management. I have been a regular patron of your bowling alley for about five years. I have never had a problem before; the man who works the night shift is amazing as are your bartenders and cocktail servers. I was one of the people who pushed for our work after party to take place at Linbrook rather than at 300 which is in the same lot as our work place. We arrived at about 10:15 and were sitting in the parking lot waiting for some other people when one of your security guards walked up and told us we had to leave. She did not tell us why or give us any other information other than to tell us that we had to leave. I walked away rather confused as to why we had to leave and I since I had done absolutely nothing other than sit in the passenger seat of a car with my door open talking to someone standing outside the door that she must have been mistaken so I walked back into the bowling alley. I met up with some friends in the bar only to have the security guard follow me into the bar and tell me I had to leave. Not wanting to cause a scene I followed her outside and asked her why I had to leave. She told me it was because people in my car were drinking. I responded that I wasnt drinking nor did I see anyone else drink or even see an alcohol container. She responded that this wasnt her problem and walked away. A few minutes later I saw her talking to another man about what we had been talking about. I walked up to her and asked her to refrain from talking about me to others since this was an invasion of my privacy. She actually laughed in my face, literally, and said OK that was fine. I asked for her name so that I could file a complaint against her to which she responded that she didnt have to give me her name so I asked her for her badge number or any other information to which she responded the same. I then pulled out my phone and then said that I would take a picture of her so that she could be identified. She then tried to grab my phone, made actual contact with my phone and with my body, and said that it was a violation of her privacy for me to take a picture of her. At this point I want to stress that in no way did I make a move that was threatening or try to actually make contact with the security guard. She then walked back toward the doors, flipped me off, and called over her shoulder for me to "go home to my mommy." I do have witnesses to this actually happening. She then returned with a man who I assume was the manager on duty. He was very polite and respectful and explained that about a year ago someone was drinking in the parking lot and they lost their liquor license for twenty days so they had to have a strict policy on drinking on the premises. I explained to him that I was not drinking and that I could not even point out who was drinking but he explained that the rule had to apply to anyone in the car. While I do not agree with the decision made to expell me from your place of business, my main complaint is against the security guard and her treatment of me. My specific complaint is of her trying to grab my phone, flipping my off, and calling out disrespectful taunts to me. In my mind, the damage is done and I will never return to your bowling alley ever again. Whenever my coworkers and I think about going bowling we will always remember this incident and decide on another activity. I have also already visited Yelp and Google reviews to post a copy of this letter. I feel deeply disrespected and I hope that certain measures are taken so that others do not have similar situations with your business.

Linbrook has to be the most awesome dive bowling alley in the world. Its old. Its probably been around longer than your dad. When you walk in, you instantly step into the past. Nothing in that building has been updated since maybe the 90s, which is why I actually feel like its never changed. Sure, there have been some renovations, which are always nice, but the overall feel is nostalgic. Halfway to the shoe and lane rental counter, the Kopa Room should be a go-to destination if youre there at the right time of night. The strange thing about karaoke @ the Kopa Room is how hit-and-miss it is. The weekends are always crazy, but sometimes during the week youll get a crowd from Disneyland or Knotts or some other service crew come down, get wasted, make out and sing badly. The locals keep it colorful, like the guy who sings and dresses like Elvis. All. The. Time. Actually, its been a really long time since I actually bowled here, but its always so packed (except maybe like 4 am) that Im sure people really dig this alley for actual bowling.

When you step into Linbrook, you are stepping backwards about 30 years in terms of bowling technology. They barely have electronic scoring, and it makes errors often enough that they might as well still use human scorekeepers. Plus, it appears as though the people in charge have neglected the maintenance of the lanes. They are seldom oiled, making any ball curve an uncontrollable amount regardless of how little spin one puts on it. On the other hand, the staff is friendly and their prices are hard to beat. The league bowlers are nice people for the most part. Nevertheless, there are better bowling centers around Orange County. Its too bad that so many of them have closed in the last twenty years, and the few that have replaced them are very expensive. If you want cheap bowling, Linbrook is hard to beat. But for an all-around good time, go to Fountain Bowl or Irvine Lanes at a time when you can take advanrage of their specials.

weekend karaoke host I no longer care for except the Sunday host ms Renee, The Friday and Saturday kj (John) handle his own with the older crowd from 8:30 to 9:30pm and with the young , the only few things i dont like about his shows is how he carrier around 3 clip boards the first 2 are for singers waiting for there turn again and the 3rd clip board is to put up new singers who just walked in the door right before closing meaning hes willing to skip you and reward them. I stop going to his shows and headed down the street to other venues, the new tomcat. My last revenue got me banned from the place for life however Im a high energy entertainer, I dont need one venue to bow down to. Let them continue to get entertain by the live horn playing from kopa regulator motown (of course they dont have a license for live instrument )

I love this place for the simple fact that its nightly karaoke and the vjay is cute. Lots of song choices and nice drinks. Im a karaoke junkie so Idc if its one or a hundred people there. I have been there with just one person there and I still felt the love. Sunday nights are the best though, thats when we get down. Oh and last year, I stumbled in here around noon on Tuesday and they was having karaoke which was perfect. They have great drink prices, theme nights, fun crowd and awesome dancing floor. Im a avid bowler and when Im there, bowling is the last thing on my mind.
