Fountain Bowl is a twenty-first century bowling center. It is much better than Linbrook Bowl or Westminster Lanes. The scoring system does rarely make mistakes, however. A new system was recently put in place, and not all the kinks have been worked out yet. The lanes are well maintained with a reasonably consistent shot without being too easy. Casual and occasional bowlers will like that all the house balls are color-coded for weight and that there is a system for choosing the proper finger sizes as well. Fountain Bowl remins the best center I have been to in north Orange County. I can see why it has been voted the best in the county by O.C. Register readers several years running. I wish I could have given four and a half stars in this review, but I had to choose between four and five, and to be conservative chose the lower number. P.S. to Mary Andrews of the Wellness Center West: If you have not been to Fountain Bowl before, please come down sometime soon and experience it first hand. On Wednesdays, games are only $1.99 each for open play. If you come between 12:15 and 1:30 P.M. you will probably run into Martin Christensen and his GGAC group.

Because its clean place to have fun I love to bowl and I dont have to worry about my stuff being damaged!! I get very good value for my money, the staff is very friendly and they do the best they can to please the customer. The guys in the pro shop are always very helpful and professional you cant go wrong at fountain bowl.

I came by here to get a ball drilled at the pro shop. Great guys and very informative on getting your ball setup right. Afterwards, bowled a couple games with my friends to see how the ball worked out and we were impressed. Very modern design with touch-screens, game options - really fun stuff to keep the kids entertained.

The bar is a lot of fun. The alley as a whole is very retro. Many of the electronic score pads dont work well but we can get around it. They have some great prices on games and are very accommodating to groups and kids. The snack bar could use some updating. All in all we find it a good place for a fun time.

On Wednesday night, roughly 8:15 or 8:30, is a free comedy show in the sports bar, Ozzies. The comics are pretty legit and you cant beat free. Host John, producer Anthony, and legal council Steve put on a stellar show. The bartenders are awesome, too. Beer, wine, and liquor are pretty standard for dive prices.

Bar is a little run down and very rude bartenders. The large man that works the register always seems like he has other places to be and is also rude. He doesnt greet anybody and usually doesnt even talk during the multiple transactions or times Ive needed something from him.

While bowling is not my SPOT, not by any means.. I found the game actually painful on my wrist. But I was told thats because I cant play. But anyhow, the place was rather nice and clean. Many great people there to enjoy conversations with and have a few laughs.

Biggest Bowling Alley in LA. They balance league well with Retail bowling. But they are a little expensive and the place is very dated. (Roof leaks! In rain on the lanes.). They work hard and the bar is excellent and thats probably just enough for me.

Great place to go bowling. Atm, food, and 2 bathrooms available on each side of bowling alley. They have cosmic bowling which is first come first se ve and one person from your group must pay cash or debit/credit card
