I work downtown and have been here for happy hour once so I thought Id go back for lunch. I know its pricey, but Im okay with things being expensive as long as the food and service are worth the price. T here was one other table in the bar area and I sat at the bar since I was alone. I ordered with in 5 minutes of sitting down, and then, I waited. And waited. It took 20 minutes for my Caprese sandwich to come out. And the bartender went MIA so I couldnt even ask if it was on its way out, what the hold up was, or cancel my order. Ethan (I think thats his name) brought it out and I told him I needed a box and could not eat my lunch there. I had to take it to go and eat at my desk. Really disappointing to go somewhere for lunch and not even be able to eat it there and enjoy it. I called and left a voice mail that afternoon asking the manager to call me. Never heard back. Probably wont go back now, and thats a shame because I live so close, they lost a potential repeat customer.

This was my second visit 2/24/12 and I am only giving three stars this time. The drink service was slow and expensive. The server had no knowledge of pricing or what kind of alcohol was in the drinks. She was obviously new but she was cheerful except when I kept asking her to verify pricing on the drinks. They have over 60 beers on draft but no Budweiser or Bud Lite how stupid is that? They did during my first visit I guess they just ran out? They did have the bottles which actually tasted fresh so that made up for it. Overall, it was still a great time. The server, my wife and her friends really connected so that was cool. Ill be back again!

Ive been here three times. Im standing outside of copper blues downtown right now. Ive been thrown out of here 2 out of 3 times here for no reason at all. The first time I went to the bathroom. The second time it was because I went to the bathroom. I suggest NEVER going to the bathroom ever here because you WILL get kicked out. Especially if you are a male. Im not sexist but it isnt the first time this has happened either. You should absolutely go to gypsy next door as I have never had a single problem with gypsy.

Ordered an american burger and a steak salad. Waited 30 plus minutes for our orders and was approached by the waiter 3 times saying that she would see how long it would be for our food to arrive. Asked for manager on the 3rd time and when the manager came over the food was rushed over, unfinished as I ordered the burger medium well. The burger made me sick instantly and I spent the rest of the next day taking medicine for the stomach pain and throwing up. Not wanting to eat here again.

The location was confusing to find, the view and the building however are beautiful. Its a very nice place to go for lunch. We split a platter among 3 and had a few different beers. The selection is pretty good and very diverse for food, beer, and spirits. The reason its a four, the server wasnt that friendly, she came checked in but never a smile, just lacking in personality or it wasnt a great day for her. Either way my wife and I will visit again some time down the road for sure.

Ive been wanting to go here for a while now and finally made it last night. I wasnt disappointed. The music was nice and soothing. My beer was excellent. Service was really good. Our waitress seemed very knowledgeable about the beers. My only complaint is that I didnt really appreciate the attire of the waitresses. I understand that most places downtown have staff dressed similarly, but I would like to see them a little more covered up. I felt like it was inappropriate work attire.

My friends and I love copper blues, but then again weve only gone on karaoke night. The band is always great and the crowds that go for karaoke are a lot of fun. Dancing and singing, its a good time. Im not impressed with the food. The best item on the menu would have to be the fries and the chicken nachos. But the drinks are pretty bomb! Huge selection of craft beers, and I have yet to find a Moscow mule from anywhere else that I love as much as this place.

Our First time in Phoenix. We just walk there from the street before 8 hoping for nice dinner, when we learn the live music is coming. Wife chicken was very good, but my steak was very chewy. Music finally come at 9 PM and I loved the performance of female vocalist, but her voice was lost in "background music". Seems to be best music bar in the city, but with margin for improvement. Leaving at 9:30 we pass lot of empty tables, yet crowds waiting to get in.

This place has an outstanding beer selection. Although, a little pricey. There is always live music on the weekends, and you can tell its popular enough to draw talented musicians to entertain the thirsty. Inside the bar a stand up live comedy club shares a wall, and a great night when you combine the two. The atmosphere is inviting and the location is centralized within a bustling Phoenix nightlife scene. This place is worth checking out.

Was here twice in a week thats how good the live music acts and staff were! I know that this is a very vibrant live music and bar spot to stop off at in downtown Phoenix, AZ. I like the location of the stage in their main room with bar then the stage is directly behind the bar and the bartenders. They offer up something like 80 or more beers on tap in that main bar in the big room. Snacks were good, didnt order a meal here though.

First time there and we gave Sierra our parking ticket to validate. She said "Ill take care of it" the n she lost it. Then spike to "manager " and he said that she has worked there for 4 years and has to believe h er. Very unprofessional. He offered to give us $10 of his own money to pay for a $27 parking ticket that shouldve been $0. Unbelievable that a manager would be so unprofessional.

Celebrated my New Years here. The food was great, drinks never stopped coming & table reservations made things a lot smoother. Apart from the contortionist lady I somehow missed the whole sideshow. So that may need to be organized a bit better next year. The only thing I would do differently next year is also reserve a spot at the comedy club for that extra boost in celebrations. gl&hf

Copper Blues feels very different from lots of the other new places in downtown Phoenix. It feels a little more suburban, a little more big-box, a little more like a lot of restaurants in Scottsdale. But, the reality is that their beer selection is incredible and their music is really good. So, its a great lesson in not judging a book by its cover. Dont miss this place!
