I thought I would share this one. My boyfriend has been a patron of Harbor Gallery for several years and have bought things from them before. He went in and saw a large chest he liked and inquired about the price because it was not listed. The price was not known by the associate and she had to call him back later, to give a price of $150. He was then called again and told that it was actually $250. He wasnt willing to spend that much and considered the matter over. He was then contacted again by the same associate who quoted the $150 price and she insisted that it was $150 and that they would do a special price for him since he was a repeat customer. He verified with her twice and explained that he was quoted a price of $150 and the associate said she was comfortable making the sale. That night.. He received an irate call from Harbor Gallery accusing him of having lack of integrity, and essentially tricking the associate to give the chest to him for $150 and just being absolutely nasty to him. Needless to say, he did not want the chest now after this behavior and would be constantly reminded of this if we had kept it. He took it back the next morning and the same person who had called irate was there. She continued to accuse him of having no integrity and of swindling the store. The associate that sold it to him for $150 lied and said she had offered no such special deal. She continued berating him and finally he had to point out that he was there to correct the situation and return the chest. I am deeply disappointed and shocked that a small business would ever treat a customer like this. This gallery thrives on local patronage and as lifetime residents of the area we will make sure all of our friends hear about this incident.

Best Customer Service Ever!!! As a movie buff I was incredibly excited to get my hands on an original vintage movie poster for a film I love signed by the director himself. Deciding to have the framing done by Harbor Gallery was about the smartest move I could make. The staff was as excited to get into the job as I was, and were extremely helpful with deciding on frame and mat choices. They understood what I wanted and helped to get me there, on budget no less! The whole gallery vibe is relaxed and fun, I even took a few minutes to get to know the resident gallery cats who were friendly and curious about everything. I thought the resident pets were a nice touch and only added to the overall enjoyment of the whole experience. The poster is now the central piece in my living room and I am happy to see it every day.

I love this gallery because I feel like its something that my generation can relate to. Its not the classics, and yes there are some "weird" things in here that people might not consider art. But thats what I love about art, that it can be anything from 10 projectors playing something at the same time to a welded version of the millenium falcon. The owner, Amy, is an AMAZING artist. The gallery is warm and welcoming. Great place to go when you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle afterwork or during a lunch break!

I recently visited Harbour Gallery in Norfolk and the customer service was outstanding! The staff was very knowledgeable and ready to help! Next time I need art work I will definitely go back to Harbour Gallery!! For the person who had an issue with cats being in the store. I think it was nice, it made for a relaxed and laid back atmosphere which is hard to come by these days! So ladies keep up the good work!! I am excited to visit you and your cats again!! Thanks again for all of your help!
