5/17 Made a reservation weeks in advance to take my mom here for a Mothers Day present. Was looking forward to it because of the great reviews, but when the day came it was thunder storming and the forecast didnt show it changing. So I called in as soon as they opened and explained that I lived an hour away and just wanted to RESCHEDULE for a different week. The lady on the phone told me that I couldnt do that, and is only possible if they cancelled it due to weather. Her suggestion was for me to drive an hour there, and "wait out the storm". There still would be the possibility that they could cancel too. Really a huge disappointment since we were looking forward to it, and we didnt even want a refund, just to go on another date. We wont ever plan another trip here, or recommend it to anyone. Out of $150, and didnt even get to see the place. 5/18 So their PR team reached out to me, and we discussed the situation. There was some miscommunication on both parts, but they were very understanding and offered to let us reschedule. We will be going this weekend, and plan on leaving an updated review of what we think of the course then! Outstanding customer service!

Emily was fabulous. I couldnt have done it without her. Our groups ages ranged from 53 to 60+. We completed the balancing portion of the challenge course and totally enjoyed the zip line. We were with a much younger group and thoroughly enjoyed each other. I went upside down on the zip line a couple times...so much fun!!! The guides ensured our safety and fun and they were also very encouraging. We definitely want to go back. Our kids are excited to go with us. Some of us were ready to pay for another zip line excursion before leaving, but Im sure they were already booked. Also, our date was actually rescheduled. We had deaths in our families on our first scheduled date, and they were wonderful about helping us find another date. Great day. Thanks.

Did the Challenge Adventure tour and loved it. The guides were wonderful. Ive been on other zipline tours at other locations. At Refreshing Mountain, the challenge elements are consolidated in one section. Some places have the challenge elements between the ziplines. There are pros and cons with both. The advantage of putting all the challenge elements in one section is that people can chose to which elements to do. For those who are leery about the elements, they can bypass it by crossing over a bridge. You can chose how hard you want the course to be. The location is very scenic. Theres a beautiful pond that you go over.

Hello, On a whim I decided to try zip-lining and found Refreshing Mountain. It had the best prices by far, the nicest website and were easy to make a reservation with. The ride there was through beautiful Lancaster farm land and quite relaxing. The place itself is spotless and very well maintained. We did the Aerial excursion and loved it. Our guides Randy and Andrea were excellent, very professional and disarming at the same time. Some folks in our group were understandably nervous and both handled the challenge well. Money well spent and I highly recommend it to anyone with or without children. Rob

My experience was awesome. I took my nieces and nephew zip lining for their Christmas present. From start to finish it was a wonderful experience. We had Jordan and Princess Diana for our guides and they did an excellent job explaining the safety rules and how to enjoy zip lining. They were interactive with us the whole tour which made it even more special for us. Jordan and Diana also convinced me to go upside down on the last zip line - which was invigorating!! We will be back to enjoy the other course sometime in the near future!!

It was my wifes idea and I was a little hesitant. What an amazing experience. The two guides we had are really patient, fun, friendly and professional. Both of them ride upside down at times making me believe that psych evaluations are not mandatory. They are safety conscience and will put your fears at ease. The grounds are well kept and everything was impressive. Being an extreme detail oriented person I can usually find something to criticize but NOT here. The staff and the grounds are extraordinary.

I had never been zip lining before, and the two young men staffing the zipline for us made me feel confident. Im a bigger woman, and they had the strength to be able to help me come to a safe stop as well as the confidence to help everyone in our diverse group have a great experience. I thought I would be terrified "jumping off", but they taught us how to sit down in our harnesses and easily take off, easing my fear quickly. Property was beautiful, staff very helpful, great experience!

Ive visited twice now. I loved zip lining so much the first time that I came back with friends! Both courses are great but I prefer the course with the obstacles, you seem to zip much faster and the obstacles are a blast. I am terrified of heights but I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone, their guides make you feel so comfortable and safe. I highly recommend going in the fall, the trees look gorgeous and its much more comfortable since it gets extremely hot in the summer.

I received vouchers for the combo trip for Christmas--both zip lining and the adventures course with obstacles. I loved it! I my husband who doesnt like heights (evil gift for him lol) had a great time too. I liked doing the zip lining first then the obstacles because I felt a bit more comfortable in my harness and was braver to move around. It was an amazing time, Dan, Morgan and Sarah were awesome guides and I felt safe the whole way. Make sure you try upside-down!

We spent two nights around Christmas time in one of the cabins and did the zip line adventure tour. Cabin is clean and has all the basic amenities including a well equipped kitchen The campsite is very family friendly. The kids enjoyed playing in the indoor gym or at the outdoor playground. They also got to see the animals on the farm. Staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend refreshing mountain for a family vacation.

We came to PA to vacation this year with our Grandchildren, ages 17, 16, 11. We looked for things to do that they had never done before, this was by far one of the best things to do and the best place to go. The staff was great, helpful, and friendly. They encourgaged you to keep trying and let you take your time with out rushing you. If we didnt live in Ill. I would return with them often. Thank you from their Nana

My husband and I did the Challenge Adventure Tour together for an extra-special date! The guides were very professional and friendly. The obstacles and ziplines were thrilling and yet we felt safe. It was a great activity for a date. We liked that we were never very far from each other as we went through the challenges and enjoyed the opportunity to connect with each other on the towers in-between challenges.
