Heirloom Estate Services is a store to avoid...my wife consigned a group of geisha dolls with June Hastings, owner of Heirloom Estate Services...they sold one doll and , thus far, have refused my wife payment, claiming that a pipe burst and ruined the doll...to date my wife has not been paid for the doll despite the fact that, in all likelihood, Heirloom Estate services, has liability insurance.Even if June Hastings did not have said insurance, she is responsible for payment on the doll as they were in her care at the time..also dolls were sent to a relative of ours in Charlotte completely dusty and with a crack in at least one of them...it will be very difficult to clean up the filthy dolls. The owner, June Hastings, has thus far refused payment on the doll sold...very dishonest indeed!! If photos are needed they can be provided as proof of our claim.Anyone contemplating doing business with Ms Hastings , please be advised...i would appreciate Trocadero looking into this matter for me...any assistance would be very much appreciated..updates as to our claim will be provided...

Just had an amazing experience here. Saw Godspeed! You Black Emperor with my 8 month pregnant wife. Stupidly assumed wed be able to sit in the balcony for this completely sold out show. It was packed, hot, noisy...etc. We couldnt even find a wall for her to lean on. When we were about to leave for fear of her health, the Troc staff came down and swooped us up. The 2 girls IDing people for upstairs (wish I knew their names) called someone to help and Kevin (I think from Maintenance) got us a chair (actually he brought us 2 and asked which one my wife would prefer!) and then shouldered us through the packed crowd and put us both by the soundboard. One of the best shows Ive ever seen/heard and the friendliest staff on earth. Thank you, Troc, for making our last hurrah before the baby comes one of the best concert-going experiences of our lives!

Nice venue. Clean. Good sound. At first security seemed a little unorganized before opening the doors, but they got themselves together and started letting everyone in on time. The show we attended was all ages and to be able to drink you had to go upstairs. I dont know if it is always like that or not. Personally, I like that. I can enjoy the show without having drunk people spill beer on me. The venues website says they validate parking from a couple of different nearby garages on 11th Street making the parking fee $10. We parked in a garage on 10th Street just around the corner for $9 without validation. Thats really cheap for Philadelphia. Overall, a good experience here. I will definitely consider going back.

Capacity was said to be 300..and yet there seemed to be way more than that. Balcony seating was far too few for the amount of people wishing to have a drink or two watching the show. Those wishing to stand and watch? Forget about it. The ceiling is far to low for anyone to see the show who isnt lucky enough to find one of the few seats there are in the balcony. I had an ecig(expensive device that gives me nicotine.) broken by one of the staff searching me. Needing nicotine, I ask to leave for a few minutes to buy a pack of cigarettes and am told I cannot come back in without buying another ticket, even after explaining what happened. Rude staff, horrible sound, and an all around unpleasant experience.

Treat the viewers horribly as well as the artists. Was at a Melanie Martinez show, was horribly disorganized, lines up for the show were a mess, balcony seating was a mess, there was no specification between VIP and non-VIP areas which led to me and other guests being forcably redirected during the middle of the show numerous times due to their incompetence in the ability to label anything. As well as the fact that the artist performing, Melanie Martinez was rushed off the stage at 10:00 because the venue wanted to close before 10. Ive never even heard of that happening before at a venue. Ive been to many venues and this was by far the worst. Horrible organization, horrible service, horrible venue.

Wish the Tower was like this. Nice for Chinatown. Dont mind my negative ratings for service, atmosphere, etc., I come here to see entertainers, not the ushers or other staff. Rarely will someone famous like Marilyn Manson perform here. He was here years ago but I missed him. Dont buy any food here. There are a ton of Chinese and other restaurants within feet which will give you a fresh, world-class meal for less than $10. The all-you-can-eat buffets are especially appealing to bargain lovers.

We were there a few weeks ago to see Stephen Marley, but unfortunately only saw the first part of the show because my husband was hit with a sudden hypoglycemic episode and almost passed out in the crowd. I cant thank the staff enough for how helpful they were in taking care of him from getting him sugar and Gatorade to staying with us outside until he felt well enough to get up and walk back to the hotel. They really represented the city of brotherly love that night!

We had our bottles of water taken and thrown in the trash upon entering the venue. We were told we could purchase water inside ($2.50 each). I understand alcohol being prohibited, but water, really? Once inside and purchasing the overpriced water, we were not allowed to have the caps for the bottles. What is that about? It would have been nice if they mentioned these absurd policies in their FAQs. Its a nice old theater though. But Ill probably avoid coming back.

Absolutely HORRIBLE and rude staff. Disorganized for an event that they KNEW would be a big thing and possibly have issues. They had 1 person doing tickets for 1200 people. They said it was okay for cameras yet then in the middle of me trying to enjoy the concert, made me stop using it. Which one is it? If it wasnt for the artist and his crew it wouldve been a horrible night. Complete lack of communication among staff and it put the patrons in the middle.

A cool venue to watch your favorite performer in an intimate setting. This is a smaller concert hall, but those are my favorite types. Every place you stand is a good spot to see the person performer. Also, for the concert we attended the balcony area was 21 & up and was where the bar was opened. I thought this was a pretty cool idea. So if you wanted a drink, you just walk upstairs chill in a balcony seat & enjoy the show!

The venue feels very small but also more personal, especially if youre closer to the stage. The security has an effective system to get everyone in quickly and effectively, which is refreshing when youre just trying to have a good time. Side note, this used to be the perfect venue location when the Wawa was just a block away. I still recommend seeing your favorite act if they come here.

This is my fav venue in Philly. Ive been going to shows here since I was 16 and still love it. From standing room only to seated shows to comedy to drag shows to movie nights, theyre the best. Plus, its only a few blocks away from the Jefferson (formerly Market East) SEPTA stop which makes it beyond convenient to get to. Also, great food in the area. Cant beat Chinatown for dumplings!!

Cool old theater. Great location right near Chinatown. Bartenders and staff are nice people. Movie Mondays are great. $3 for a movie on a big screen and the $3 goes towards a beer or a snack. You do have to be ok with sitting on the balcony steps- Come early to get a good spot! Have been to a couple concerts here, too, and enjoyed the shows.
