Horrible experience! My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to the experience of the AMC Dine-in and theatre with good service, great food and entertainment. My boyfriend is a DC fanatic and I wanted to treat him to the "Batman vs Superman" movie and the last time Ive been to the AMC the food and everything was great. First impression going back for that night was how filthy the theater looked and the employees huddled around at the entrance into the movies. Next, I asked the server for warm water with lemon and a margarita and he brings back ice water (I did not even touch it the whole night). I was confused about the new, tiny menus but I decided to order sushi to start and a BBQ chicken sandwich. The sushi tasted overcooked and not fresh at all that I could not even eat it most of it. So, I was excited for the sandwich in hopes that it is as good as it sounds, no the sandwich was soggy! Nothing was fresh about the lettuce and tomatoes on there. I asked for BBQ and ranch on the side and they brought me too plastic cups with the sauces in it! Let alone I could not even eat the sandwich. I asked the server I did not want it and decided to try the boneless wings, those were gross! Wendys make better wings than what I had that night! Once again, I had to send my food back and I did not order anything else. But it did not stop there, the movie was in 3-D when it started I turned to my boyfriend and asked "Is it me or is the sound low and my eyes are playing tricks on me?" The 3-D quality was bad, almost blinding to my eyes. I ended up just sleeping though out the movie. Overall, I spent well $105.00; $35+ tax for the tickets online and $60+ $10 tip for the server who gave us slow service! It was an experience that wasted my time! I never want to go back! I do not know what happened that night but I was so disappointed because I loved everything about the AMC with its original menu and great quality experience. I hope it gets better!

Horrible experience! We ran the server 20min before the movie began since we saw two other couples having food brought out. She didnt show up until 10min after the movie began. We wanted the sampler platter but she said they didnt have any tator tots or the platters tonight also no buns or bread for any burgers or sandwiches, no fries & no lemons for the water so we proceed to change what we wanted and she kept saying their out of this and that , practically half the whole menu. People behind us ordered 30min after us and received their drinks within two min, while we sat waiting for ours. We had to ring again and someone else ran the drinks for her to us while she was serving the people behind us their food. We got our food when the movie was more then half way done and the wings were barley warm. The carrots and celery were brown old and soggy . As if they were scooped out of chicken noodle soup . The nachos were ice cold " The Rich cheddar cheese" was hardened and molded onto the nachos. The beans were old and hard as well as the jalepenos. The shrimps were soggy and cold too. My boyfriend sandwich it came out bunless without fries . Many food was being sent back and the waitress said I was the tenth one tonight to send my food back for being cold. 35$ for two drinks that took forever to come and a bunlesss sandwich and barley decent wings ( Gave her at least 6dollar tip) and 28$ for ordering your tickets on amc online . Also when we sat down there was old food on the floor, no silverware and crumbs on the little tables and a lot of wrappers and old candy bags. It wasnt even busy. How was the service so bad and food so horrible and slow

Well where do I begin... This was my first visit to the AMC DINE-IN BRIDGEWATER theater as I generally go to the theater in Manville, NJ and I have to say it was not at all what I expected. First off going in at the customer service area to purchase a ticket for a show that started at 11:45am and only the bar tender was present was a bit unusual. He informed me that someone would be right with me at 11:40 am. I buy my ticket and I was excited to say the least because I wanted to bring my nephews here. I enter and it took me a minute to find my seat and still I had high hopes. Then I sit down hit the button to make an order and as I am waiting I realize this place is not that clean. For the first show the theater should be pristine. There was popcorn crumbs on my arm rest and on the floor. It looked like something had splashed or spilled on the arm rest as well as all the seats going down. The areas in front of other peoples chairs were not clean either. So now the young lady comes and takes my order, which took a while. The only ok thing was the nachos when they finally arrived. I just figured maybe they are having an off day or maybe they had call outs, but then Im think from a managers perspective and there should have been a walk through to make sure everything was ok. Unfortunately I dont know if I would be back.

In all my life I have not once felt the need to write a negative review, this changes today. I went to watch a movie here, and aside from the screen blockage that is inherent of this type of establishment, everything seemed fine. Then I tried to order popcorn. It should be known that the popcorn costs $8.50 (more than what I paid for the movie), and normally, I would be okay with that. The popcorn is, in my opinion, an integral part of the movie-going experience. The CARDINAL SIN however, and I dont use that term lightly, is that the popcorn comes with BUTTER ON THE SIDE. I AM COMPLETELY SERIOUS RIGHT NOW. If you ask, they will not serve the popcorn normally, you are forced to eat popcorn with butter on the side. You might be thinking to yourself, "why doesnt this idiot just mix the butter in?". First of all, its the principle of the thing, popcorn has been served a certain way for a hundred years, why the hell should it be changed now? And secondly, no matter how hard you try to mix it, you will never get a good distribution of butter. There, Ive said my piece, this place deserves 0 stars for this awful practice. tl;dr Popcorn comes with butter on the side, and this theater sucks because of it

Ive been here approximately 3 times. The first trip was awesome, second was mediocre and the third was awful. Time one[shortly after they opened]- tiny menu but I had some amazing spicy chicken nachos/appetizer thing that they have since removed from the menu. Good service, good beer; all food/drinks were overpriced but its the movies... its expected. Overall an enjoyable experience. Time two- way more menu options but what I had[cant remember] was awful. Service was mediocre. Time three- pushed the service button and wasnt approached for approximately thirty minues. All we wanted was a soda. They were out of the soda we ordered and then it took ten minutes to get whatever we settled on. The chair I sat in was broken and heavily leaning forward so I would just slide off if my feet werent on the ground[no recliners in this theater]. Luckily we were at a 3pm show so it wasnt crowded... we switched to a different pair of seats and it was much better. The guy in front of us had a very squeaky chair that was making noise through the whole movie. Just a blah experience. Not awful but probably wont go back since there are such nicer theaters near me.
