Not a great experience at $200/night (tax incl). Waited 10 min (even tried calling while standing at desk) to check in. Then on day of checkout were charged $12+ for a single breakfast - there were no signs specifying that making your own waffle (not requesting from kitchen) would double price of breakfast. The waffle iron was on the counter next to doughnuts, muffins, danishes, toast (incl in the $6 breakfast) and the fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, cold cereals, boiled eggs, and juice (incl in the $6 breakfast ). All of this was separated from the grill where sausage, bacon, eggs to order area was. My father and I shared ONE waffle, each had a glass of orange juice, and he ate a yogurt and small bowl of fruit - and the waitress brought a $26 bill!!!! No coffee, no meat, no anything that required ANY service or was not laying on an open counter. When I questioned her, she rudely informed me that waffles were All American at twice the cost. What could have been an okay experience became ridiculous. The rooms were clean, comfortable. The personnel at the desk were generally pleasant although not friendly. But if you can, stay at Fairfield or Marriott; they surely have nicer staff. You can eat cheaper at any diner in the area (The Oxford Diner and Perkins Family Restaurant on 41 were both amazing).

Michael at the front desk is so friendly and personable! Love when people remember who you are when you walk in. Rooms are nice but a tad oddly laid out. ie. Bathroom door when opens blocks the door to the room. Nice lobby and hot Hottub!! Fitness room is minimal but typical. Coffee and juices are available in the morning but breakfast is not included but you can order off the menu. Convenient to easy access to Kennett Square

The staff was friendly and accommodative. There was complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and confectionary items in the lobby, which was a minor but excellent touch! The room was clean and appealing. The location was close to the Longwood Gardens, downtown Kennett Square, and a slew of local wineries. Would stay here again, and certainly recommend to friends!

We have had a terrible experience in dealing with this hotel. In addition to having a reservation cancelled and leaving a member of our group without a place to stay for the weekend our credit cards were charged wrong amounts. I have left multiple messages to try and rectify the situation but the hotel cant be bothered to give me a call back.

The staff was very friendly throughout our stay. Bed was super comfortable and the whirlpool was very relaxing. If I had to choose my least favorite part, it would be breakfast. Coffee was good but, pancakes werent that good. All in all, I would go again for my next passing by.

Wedding receptions were going on until 11 PM. Was on the first floor just down the hall. Very disruptive. Felt like the hotel should have let us know prior and compensated us in some way knowing people would have an issue with the insanely loud noise. Breakfast was chaotic.

Hilton Garden Inn always has great staff great service. Enjoy the warm welcoming environment. I would highly recommend this place to stay the night or a week. It always nice to have friendly people welcome you. Makes the stay worthwhile.

When we arrived the suite we booked was not available because it didnt have A.C. and we were downgraded and also did not receive a discount or anything else was the massive inconvenience. Our rooms window faced a wall. Not impressed.

Staff was nice, rooms were clean and continental breakfast was a small but acceptable amount. The pool was very small and cold but had I not had kids with me I probably wouldnt have even noticed.

Spent two weeks at the Hilton Garden Inn. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. The rooms, bathrooms and common spaces are all clean and well maintained.
