We went to Club 205 after dinner to celebrate my brothers birthday. One of our friends bought a table paid the bouncer at the front door to get us all in. When we got downstairs to go to our table, the bouncer told us we werent allowed down and that we werent getting the table. Our friend informed the bouncer that we paid $$ for the table and that was miscommunication. The bouncer immediately pushed our friend against the wall and as my friend went to regain his balanced, he was pushed again, followed by another bouncer coming in and putting my friend in a headlock while the other bouncer started punching him in the gut and pushed him in the back exit (which is a brick stairwell). I started screaming help and our other guy friend went to break it up, the bouncer grabbed him by the throat and threw his face against the wall. I then started crying and screamed for the bouncer to stopped, he then grabbed me by the arm and threw me like a rag doll against the wall - I then panicked and screamed bloody murder while rushing up the stairs. Our party met the Manager- Joe at the front, where he wanted to know what exactly happened. We told him the entire story and explained it was: 1. The bouncers initiated the assault 2. The bouncer tricked one of our friends - which a bouncer is not entitled to do 3. The bouncers pushed and physically threw two of our friends out of the establishment - not allowed to do 4. Restrained our two friends in a chock/joint lock - not allowed to do 5. The bouncer physically assault me, a 110 lbs. female that was not involved in the altercation The Mananger, Joe, heard our concern and anger and then offered us money in compensation. Joe ended up paying us over $100 dollars to try and rectify the situation. To be clear, Joe said he will review the surveillance video - Which WE ARE THRILLED ABOUT because it will support our case. Yesterday, we filed a joint complain against the 205 Club establishment for assault for 3 people, failure to protect your patrons, and physical damages. The bouncers at this club did not act within their legal obligation and used excessive force of two males and one female.

I like going to 205 to get crunk with my friends on the dancefloor. the music is always bump bumpin. The last time I went there I was greeted by my friends outside. The bouncer was too tough but eventually let me and my 3 girlfriends in. What a blast

This place is definitely for the younger crowd looking to get rowdy. The DJ was good and drinks were strong but it gets crowded and feels like youre in a college fraternity basement. Overall it was fun but Im not sure its my scene.

Love the atmosphere, great staff definitely a place to check out if your visiting or live in the area and havent been there. Great music too!!! And CLEAN!

The most pretentious dive bar. Only go if you want to be treated like youre trying to get into Catch during a special event.
