I have to say I liked the lanes, I liked the layout, plus the seating and equipment is all vintage 70s, which you dont find much of nowadays, but when I remember bowling with my family as a kid, bowling alleys almost always had a 70s motif. Staff was fairly helpful, although getting a drink while bowling was a little difficult, bar tender on the lane side was MIA. Id really love to give this place a 5 star review just because I enjoyed the atmosphere and the lanes. HOWEVER While playing there the ball return took a few small nicks out of my brand new ball, it also chewed up the fingertips a bit and scuffed up the jacket quite a bit. I had to switch to an old ball, I was afraid of having some serious chips taken out of my ball.

We had our employee holiday party (in January) at Schwoeglers and had a blast. We had the pizza and salad buffet, which they set up by our lanes and let us bring in cake. The food was far better than it had any right to be, and the service team was responsive; you wouldnt think a bowling alley would be so proficient at hosting a small banquet, but they acted like they do it all the time. The kids had pizza and bowling, the adults had the football game and the bar- I felt compelled to write a positive review because they deserve some sort of recognition. Good job!

I visit this bowling alley on a monthly basis, as I have a large group that always meets here. If youre looking for a fun, cozy, family-friendly bowling atmosphere, this is a place to get it. Other things to note, the shoes are clean, the staff nice, and the food is good. They also offer cosmic bowling at night, karaoke, and a separate bar area (if youre into that sort of thing).

We had my sons 8th birthday party there this last weekend and it was amazing. from the first call to the end of the party the whole experience was great! I will be recommending this place for any event/party. Thank you everyone at schwoelegers for making my sons birthday great !!

Place is a lot of fun. Not the nicest or cleanest but I dont go to bowling alleys for nice or clean so its just right. Not too expensive, fun atmosphere, pretty good (average tasty) bar food all things considered. Good place to just relive some stress and knock down a few pins.

Bowled city tournament at Parktowne on 1/17/15. The pits and ball returns are very dirty. My ball kept coming back covered with black gunk. Otherwise, the shot was good, and the rest of the experience (food,drinks,service,etc) was fine. Clean up those back ends!

As of Fall 2014 they have 4 great pinball machines. This is mainly what I came for. The games are GREAT and play perfect. When I was there they had a good taco special and drinks were cheap and a nice pour. I will be back again.

Food is subpar. SERVICE IS AWFUL! They wouldnt honor our coupons for there. We wanted the $1 hamburger specials when we were bowling and they said we had to physically be in the bar to get them. Bad service all the way around!

The building was clean, but the workers were inattentive, the balls werent organized at all, and there are these crazy flashing lights above the lanes that make it hard to focus.

Family fun and friendly prices! Madison Pinball has several great machines both new and old here. 36 lanes of bowling, a bar and food too. We will be going back very soon!

Came to play pinball and did not leave disappointed. A local pinball club has set up about a dozen machines here, most of which are brand new or in super good condition.

Fun place for karaoke on the weekends and drink prices are reasonable. Bartenders are down to earth and not understaffed, so you dont have to wait all night for service.
