My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at Bowlavard Lanes and it was so great! Our guests had a blast and it was easy to forget we were actually in a bowling alley! We had a buffet with Chicken, Beef, baked potatoes and corn. Chicken was so good, beef was ok, baked potatoes perfect! There were a few miscommunications among staff along the way when it came to pricing and other details but in the end it worked out great. I did a lot of research during planning and having our reception at the bowlavard was the best way to get the most for our money, we saved thousands of dollars. I would recommend purchasing your own tablecloths as the ones provided were paper, we had our own tablecloths, chair covers and it transformed the space. So, if thinking about hosting your reception, or large party at bowlavard, its a great idea! Just make sure you are very clear about your expectations and what you order to help with any potential miscommunication :)

Ive been going to Bowl-a-Vard for summer volleyball leagues for over 12 years now & have always had a good time. The teams are generally good competition and, for the most part, not poor sports. The deck renovation several years ago was a terrific improvement and Chris runs an excellent league and tournament. Oh, the food is great and the bowlings pretty good - Im not much of a bowler but Ive heard nothing but good things about the lanes here!

Each monday was dollar night bowling from 9pm till midnight, but dont be fooled by any old advertisement of this. It is now $1.50 per game which isnt bad at all but the 50 cents does add up. I would much rather convince my friends to go somewhere else because I dont have lots of money to spend these days and I know other allies have dollar nights too. Its a great place, but I cant afford to do it each week if its at the price it is now.

We have a volleyball team that plays at Bowlavard and we absolutely love playing here! The courts are the best in town and the atmosphere outside the courts is great. Nice outdoor bar area, good music, and always a good crowd. The indoor bar is pretty good as well. always have good drink specials and there is always a game on.

Ive only bowled here a couple of times, but I have had fun every time. Though I find it hard not to have fun while bowling (no matter how bad I am). The new fangled screens they have on the lanes are also super nice and definetly make the experience more enjoyable. Overall great place to bowl.

They did a good job reinventing the place up to date but the service was mediocre when it comes to bar tenders and ordering food. I wasnt able to order food at 11:10pm and the bar tender said they closed the kitchen at midnight. I wasnt going to argue with her, however, I was really hungry.

The food is hit or miss. Ive was a regular that stopped 3-4 times a week for pool and food, but constant staff turnover seems to have effected the food. Get the right cook, the juicy Lucy will make your knees buckle and thank God your a man... Or a women, but its a pretty manly burger...

Here for a birthday party, and it went great with everything they provided for the kids! For bowling it was easy to enter names and set up bummpers too. Kids loved the pizza and drinks and the little goodie bags that the staff provided.

The touch screen at each lane was neat, even though navigating through it wasnt especially intuitive. One in our party was suffering from a twisted ankle so we easily put up the bumpers so they could "compete" with the rest of us.

I just waited at the control desk for over 5 minutes and did not see a single employee. There was also a group of patrons waiting for help at the bar that were not being helped. I will take my business elsewhere.

Make sure they put you in the right volleyball league. They dont consider your experience level, they just want bodies to fill the spots. And dont expect a refund. Lazy management. Never playing there again.

New touch screen system, easy to use with front camera to customize each bowler. They also have a new arcades corner, so if you have not been there for a while, well go again and you will like the new upgrade.

The bar area is big, they have okay pool tables and the staff was friendly. There are plenty of lanes of bowling and the price was right. Fun place to go with a group and seemed like a good atmosphere.

This is my go to GYRO joint . Over stuffed with meat , A mess to eat but delicious . Avoid bowling tournaments if you dont like crowds .
