I wanted to send a most sincere thank you and job well done to Phyllis and her staff at Nippersink Resort. They made our wedding day so special, and all of the arrangements turned out even better than expected. The staff really went above and beyond in order to make sure each and every one of our guests had a wonderful time. The banquet hall was setup perfectly, and the gazebo out back was better than we imagined. The location really is perfect for an outdoor wedding, and Im sure even an indoor one would turn out great. Beyond the location and the service, the food was just as amazing!! Everything was so delicious and served hot, fresh, and fast. Id also like to give a special thank you to Phyllis herself who really knows her business and helped us every step of the way. She was really like our own personal wedding planner!! Not only did she have everything handled for the event at the resort, she has contacts with outside vendors for every other aspect you will need for your wedding. On top of all this....the pricing was fantastic too!!! We looked at many other locations before choosing Nippersink, and the value that they present for your money just cant be beat. Book your special day here with confidence!!! Thanks again to everyone on the Nippersink Banquet Staff!!! Keep up the great work!!! One additional note on the hotel rooms at the resort. Please know that they are basic rooms and I urge you not to expect ultra-modern hotel accommodations. While the decor is on the older side, the rooms are kept very clean, they are perfectly comfortable, and they are priced accordingly. Other hotels are several miles away and up to 5 times more expensive (especially in Lake Geneva), so if you are going to the resort for a wedding and planning on enjoying some cocktails, these rooms are a nice short and safe walk from the reception hall, and are absolutely fine for an overnight stay. Many of my wedding guests stayed in the hotel and I didn’t hear a complaint from a single one, even those that prefer more luxurious accommodations. After a great night of open bar, everyone was more than happy to be able walk back to their rooms!!!

Awful wedding Venue, I dont usually write reviews but I feel like everything about it was awful. Like the previous reviewer said the gazebo area was beautiful but that was about it. It had been raining earlier in the day and the chairs were outside while it rained and nobody came to wipe those up. Im not sure whos responsibility it was to wipe those down were. Needless to say all the seats were still a little bit wet. I am under the impression that everything about this wedding was all part of the Country Club, meaning they provide everything. So I feel like the DJ at this wedding was disturbingly bad ignoring requests, playing the same songs more than once. The food was awful we had Turkey and Pork with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The turkey was dry and the pork was tough it was then covered in the most disgusting tasting white sauce. On top of that like the previous poster said, they "massacred" the cake. My wife got one piece and sent it back because literally the "cake" slice was all frosting that was it. How they can screw up cutting cake is beyond me especially since it was a smaller wedding and plenty of cake to go around. For weddings I would definitely suggest staying away from this place no matter how good the brochures look or the website looks dont be fooled and come here. You may be blinded because its your special day but believe me your guests will be talking about how terrible this place is. Do yourself and your family a favor and find a new place.

Since its a "Resort" that offers different amenities, you have to break this place down when rating it. Ive gone there several times to play golf and stayed that those dirty cabins (which are no longer in service, thank GOD), and also at the hotel (which is far better, but still a dump). The golf course is about what you would expect for the price they offer. Mostly long, straight fairways. Nothing fancy to speak of. I would rate the course 3 stars, and the hotel a zero, which averages out to 1 start. Seriously, the hotel is scary. When we arrived, we asked if we could get another room, and they said they didnt have any available. I asked if they were all booked up (which would be shocking since the place is a dump) and they said no, but they dont make/clean the room until they have a reservation. GREAT business tactic!! And they had a wedding that night too. I was surprised they didnt have a few spare rooms cleaned up and ready to use just in case a guest at the wedding decided to stay. Unbelievable. I cant say much for the banquet hall, since Ive never attended an event there. I dont know anyone who is trashy enough to hold an even there.

I have attended two family weddings here in the last year. The women that runs those is not easy or nice to deal with. At the first wedding we attended she screamed about the music, at the second wedding the room was freezing she gripped about the children in the wedding, the dinner was served and my table was done with dessert by the time that other tables got their meals. The cake got massacred (serving slivers to some and HUGE slices to others) She started cleaning up the bride and grooms personal items long before the event was over. Refused to let people drink the drinks they had paid for. She wouldnt dim the lights for dancing. She complained about smokers in the designated smoking area. Shook her head at us dancing, fought with the grooms father and was dressed quite inappropriately for the event. She also had quite an attitude about the bride and groom wanting to take pictures on the grounds. The sad thing is that the gazebo area for weddings they have is gorgeous.

Held my wedding here in September and it was nothing but fun! The staff was professional in their dealing with the guest. They catered to the needs of my guest who needed special attention and went above and beyond. Phyllis always made sure to keep us informed throughout the whole time of planning portion. The team who set up the room prior to us arriving made sure it was presentable, clean and well put together; anything that might of been out of place they ensured to tell us why it was that way. The food was delicious and presented when we as the bride and groom requested it to be served, the chicken was awesome! Id like to put a shout out to Tom our bartender, Kelley our head server and Nathan as the overall lead for the fun and exciting night. You all did a fantastic job in ensuring that everything was handle even when we had a bump or two and quickly fixed the problems! I couldnt ask for a better group of individuals for that day.

We recently attended a family wedding here and were a little concerned after reading many reviews. We all agreed that the wedding area outside and the reception area were very nice. The staff at the wedding were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good too. However the hotel was not acceptable, many of the wedding party/guests had reserved rooms there and Im pretty sure everyone cancelled after they actually saw the rooms. If you have seen the pictures and think they are bad (like we did), they are even worse in person. Some thought thought for 70$ it was cheap and we just wanted a place to sleep, however after seeing the room in person we were not willing to pay even 30 to sleep there. We ended up driving to Elkhorn 20 min away and getting 5 rooms at the Americinn. We were very happy with the rooms and service there. We would rate the wedding area and food 4 1/2 stars and the hotel zero stars.
