I live in Plainfield and I would consider this my "home course". Ive played Whitetail at least a dozen times this year because I really enjoy the layout and the challenge for my skill level. Weve had a major drought this year and the course has consistently been in great shape. They also have a great driving range and putting/chipping green to warmup before your round. My only callout is that some of the greens have been beaten up a few times - due to players not repairing this ball marks and the staff not doing so either. If you play golf anywhere, REPAIR YOUR MARKS ON THE GREENS!

We went for Sunday brunch. The selections are not much more than you will find at a Hampton Inn complementary breakfast. Eggs and bacon were generic. Potatoes tasted like they had sat out for a while. Omelet station was OK. Our waitress and staff were very nice. We will not be going back for Sunday brunch though we might try dinner in the future.

Beautiful location and can accommodate very large parties. Only have been there for a networking event, but was very impressed with the operation of this business. The food was ok and not eventful, but the service was very good.

Great golf course at a reasonable rate. Challenging when it needs to be and forgiving at others. Scenery is quite different from the front to the back 9, making it feel like 2 separate courses. I love playing here!

We attended a wedding here. It was a very nice place. The food was decent, the room stayed very comfortable, even with a lot of people but it was a cool day too which helped. It is pretty remote and private.

Great course and very challenging. Course was well maintained and the greens were like ice (very fast). This course has two very different front and back 9s. If you plan to walk, the back 9 is very hilly.

This place is just beautiful. I love to just stop in for a burger and a beer now and then. And look at the serene golf course and the stone fireplace. Staff is always wonderful.
