June 1, 2017 update....Again I only play the backside...actually EVERY green has good grass front to back, side to side! No dead spots or ruts. However, they are really SLOW. Like maybe 5 on the stimpmeter. Traps need some weeding. Looks like they are no longer going with bent grass fairways, probably because of cost. But they have plenty of good grass. They could use a round of a broadleaf weed control, weeds getting to close to being bad. Fix these up and might back to 5 stars, still 3 1/2 to 4 stars.. This 9 holes is a fine looking and playing as there is. In top condition it is must play. June 2016 update...the backside is now in good shape. Six of the greens are completely fine, two have a couple small areas, one #12 is still shaky but WAY better. Other than some spotty areas of clover, the fairways are also good. Can now recommend this 9 holes again as the entire 9 holes is back to good. 4 out 5 What a shame. The backside used to be one the best 9 holes anywhere. 2013 and still in 2014 the condition is real bad, with the greens basically not playable. Lack of money or someone who really knows how to maintain a golf course?? Dont know. Will check it when up here, but looks like time to find a new gem.

Played the back nine with a buddy a couple weeks ago, complete waste of my $15. Worst greens I have ever seen, worse than many fairways I have played on. The tee boxes are horrible, mounds of dirt with sparse grass, marked by a couple painted rocks. The course is in a beautiful setting however the condition was horrible....could be because its is spring time but I doubt it.

Really liking the atmosphere they provide for large group fundraisers and community events.

Over cooked food and poor preparation for a very large group that had reservations
