This place markets itself as a "Premier" golf facility. It is far from it. The day started with them not having the reservation we made on the phone with them just hours earlier. Then we had to wait 20 minutes for a cart to become available. When we finally was given a cart, it had been hosed down but not dried, so we could not put our personal items in the forward compartment. It was 95 degrees on Fathers day. There was no marshall - it took 4.5 hours to play 13 holes. There was NO drinking water on the course, and we only saw the drink cart when we teed of on #1. We called the clubhouse from 13th tee, and was told that the drink cart was called in for the day at 3pm. Every trap was full of muddy water and unplayable. They didnt even have handi wipes on the ball washers. This course is out in the middle of nowhere, and not worth the drive.

My new favorite course = course design+price+maintenance Nothing gimicky. Just a very well layed-out design that is very challenging. You will lose a few balls if you have trouble hitting your fairways. I played from the tips which plays 7000+ yards. Very secluded with only ONE house within site of the course. Otherwise, there is no one but players within sight while on the course. Clubhouse is top notch. The only negative was the very well maintained, but old and slow Yamaha carts and how far it is from my house. It is really out in the sticks as my grandmother would say.

I have played Oak Grove several times now and have made it my "go to" course. The course is well maintained and the layout is the most challenging of the courses I have played in the area. Its well worth the drive over to Harvard!

Wow - what a find. Beautiful layout and a very challenging course. Very little traffic but they keep the course in great condition. Pro shop staff is very friendly. Long - Long - Long. Bring your Big Boy game.

Beautiful layout on a large property with many grade changes. A test of golf with a high slope. Not for the average golfer. Very reasonably priced.

Great layout and challenging course to play. As with a lot of clubs these, clubhouse amenities are the basics.

course is worth the trip, however in need of some upkeep, especially the traps, also seems to be under staffed
