The Good: Great city views, especially at twilight when it can be quite magical. The Not-So-Good: Construction: The Center for Wooden Boats is currently building a new visitor center which means a sizable portion of the park is under construction. Also, to add insult to injury, the parks western pedestrian bridge has been closed due to structural issues since 2015. Bird Poop: I love Canadian Geese but this place is like a toilet. I dont allow my dogs on the grass because they cant take a step without squishing into the green goo.

This is one of the best park in Seattle! Hidden in near the city center, Amazon, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. It right by the small but beautiful Lake Union. Water planes take off and land on weekdays, and you can visit many interesting places surrounding it. Dont miss out the undulating lawns and the fountain plaza where water jets out from underneath, if you bring your children along or you are still a child in the heart.

Очень маленький парк, но вполне годится для прогулок и занятий спортом, если живёшь поблизости. Летом детей очень радуют бьющие из земли фонтаны. Через них весело бегать даже взрослым.

When we moved to the Seattle area, we initially lived at an extended stay hotel right near Lake Union Park. The proximity found us often strolling the park, our dog in tow. We loved it. Sure it is better if the weather is dry and drop-dead gorgeous when the sun shines, but its sight lines are so spectacular as to make Lake Union Park spot-on perfect in any weather conditions. An oasis of green amid a sea of concrete.

Nice park to walk around in, no play equipment for children. Lots of Canadian geese here in the spring so watch out for droppings! Beautiful views of Lake Union and the sailboats, and a few historic boats docked that the public can enter. Right next to the Center for Wooden Boats, which offers sailing lessons. There are several nice seating areas where one can eat lunch or have a coffee.

The place is beautiful even on a cloudy day. There is a lot to be done, you can get wooden sail boats to play with in the ponds which is a lot of fun for adults and kids, there is usually a suggested donation of $5 but its optional. The park is nice to play in but its full of dog poop so be careful and dont plan a picnic. You can also take Boat rides from there on Sunday for 12 dollars.

This is a great little park to come for a walk, sun and take a rest. Theres a lot of green gras. They also have little water fountains in the middle to cool down and water your feet. Walk down the pier and you can get very very close to the water planes landing on the lake. It looks scary but somehow they manage to never hit someone. Certainly worth a visit when youre in Seattle.

Love love love this place . Fun to watch the boats and planes come in and out as well as people watching. The MOHAI is awesome as well! Seattle has such a cool history of innovation and you get to experience all the best aspects of it. Wish there was more Native art and cultural influence in this area of the city however. Its turning into a tech lunch park!

Very calm and soothing place with surrounded by lots of ships, yatches & big buildings. Nice place to watch hydroplanes landing and taking off too frequently during the day, kayaking, boating at same time. As of now, construction is going on, so not as much space to play around in park or cycling close to it. Tip : do visit MOHAI museum atleast once.

Beautiful views with lots of things to do. South Lake Cafe is right there serving up some delicious grub. The Historic Ship Warf is a check out must, Arthur Foss is my favorite. MOHAI has the Pink Tow Truck and so much more of Seattles history. Center for Wooden Boats is there as well and on Sundays you can get a free sail tour on Lake Union.

Come here at sunrise or sunset and take some pictures. Seriously. Bring your girlfriend here and snap some amazing shots. The scenery is gorgeous unless its raining. If you come during the summer, sit in the park until 8 or 9, then it starts getting dark. Just watch the sun set behind boats and buildings. It will be a moment to remember.

This is a very scenic and well kept park that I love to just walk around and feel at peace. The early morning hours are the best when there arent so many people strolling around and breaking up the serenity of the place. Of course, you have the MOHI Museum there as well where you can learn about the history of Seattle.

Its a nice park on the water with an interesting view of the space needle. Its more of a walk-around park than a kids park due to its layout and the goose droppings on the grass. A determined kid could make a beeline for the lake. There is a water feature for kids to play in in the warmer months.

This is a great park that has great views of the lake. Lots of activity on the lake as there are boaters (sail and power) that are constantly launching, paddle boarders and kayakers are also in the mix. This is also a great place to watch the seaplanes land and takeoff. A very fun experience.

What could be better than a free Sunday steam boat ride. The Virginia V is a cool steam boat and the captain and deck hands are very pleasant. The park is great with boats for the kids to play with and a water fountain to play in. Lots of geese and their little presents so be prepared.

Center for wooden boats and Museum of History and Industry are adjacent. A bridge will be fixed in 2017 and there is a bike trap and traffic congestion system that should be removed(light rail that complicates the area needlessly and wastefully) Other than that is is very enjoyable.

Very clean and well maintained park. Its actually very relaxing to come out here in the middle of the afternoon to soak up some sun and enjoy the nature. There are lots of kids playing in the summer in the fountains and people swimming off the docks. Great little park to escape to.

Great little park with equally great views. The park is very well maintained and even though it was a busy saturday morning it still felt roomy and peaceful. I also enjoyed the wooden boat museum while there! Lots of photo opportunities with the boats, birds, and space needle views.

Nice work with a great view of the water. I like how close it is to the MOHAI and the Center for Wooden Boats. The reason for 1 star off is the bridge that goes over the water has been "under construction" for a while now, and its not supposed to be done for several months.

The waterfront views cannot be emphasized enough. You have 360 degree views of Lake Union and the Seattle skyline. I did find a small playground near Daniels Broiler which is a plus since I have small kids. If the playground was improved I would reconsider giving 5 stars.

I love this park! Its cute and really shows off Seattle for what it is. Unfortunately there is bird poop everywhere thanks to those annoying seagulls and geese.... BUT its a beautiful park with a lot of rich history being next to MOHAI and the Museum for Wooden Boats.
