First of all, I used to love coming to Lynnwood Bowl and Skate. It was a great place to get together with friends and family at an affordable rate. Even as a child, we often came for birthdays to go skating and I have great memories of all the fun times. That all changed though. Ive noticed the quality decreasing for awhile now. One time there was a piece of wood missing from one of the lanes, number 2 lane if I remember correctly. Our last visit takes the cake though, quite literally. For years when we would go bowling, we would bring in our own birthday cake to celebrate. Apparently, that is no longer allowed. When my mother showed up with a birthday cake, I was approached by a staff member informing me that no outside food and drink is allowed and we would have to get rid of the cake because prior arrangements were not made. Now, I understand the no outside food and drink thing. They run a business and food is part of how they make their money. Which is why we were buying drinks and food from their restaurant. However, as far as Im aware, they dont sell birthday cake. When I came home, I left a comment (which has been promptly deleted) on the companies facebook page regarding my disappointment with how things were handled and was informed that parties are another way the company makes money. From there, I went to the companies actual website and found a parties tab, in which it lists a party for adults at $355. I saw nothing about other alternatives, though whomever was responding on the facebook page claims they have parties to meet every budget and group size. I must also mention how slippery the floors were, even off the lanes themselves. One member of our group actually fell down. It seems like the lanes were over oiled as well, it was rather difficult to hold onto my bowling ball and others were noticing the same. All in all, I am highly disappointed with my latest experience at this establishment. The management was rude, the facilities werent up to par, and we all left feeling very let down. We are all adults and we know how to handle the disappointment...but what if this happened to a child who wouldnt understand?

You pay by the hour and we spent the majority of the time waiting for the stuck ball to return. It wasnt just one ball either it was every one we tried. They switched us to a different lane but even that didnt do much good. They wouldnt refund our money for the full hour when we offered to pay for the first half hour that we bowled even though we didnt really get much bowling out of it. They instead gave us free passes that we will probably never use. I didnt want to get into with the worker so we just went with it and made the decision that we will never return again. Im not going to continue to go to a place where the lanes suck and you spend most of the time waiting then you actually do bowling and then they wont even let you leave after a half hour and just pay for that time instead of for the full hour. They could of easily just charged me for shoes and the 11 bucks for the half hour and gave me the rest back for the other 30 minutes. Definitely wont go back and wont recommend this place to anyone.

Transphobic employee alert. One of the employees was very rude to me while I tried to get the right shoe size for my skates and ended up having to talk to someone else to get what I asked for (multiple times). This employee assumed my gender, ignored my requests for the correct shoe size, got defensive when a co-worker said something about the whole situation (stated that the shoe sizes werent THAT different, even though I couldnt even get my heel in), and was generally sour faced towards me for the rest of the evening. I was VERY tempted to include a name. But instead of getting someone fired, hopefully yall can teach your employees how to give what your customers are asking for instead of what they think the customer should want. And maybe some sensitivity training would go a long way. I would not suggest going here if you are trans and trying to have a nice time with your family/friends.

First the good - They offer $8, 2 hour bowling with shoes on weekdays. Awesome deal. Great place to take kids for entertainment. They also have a skating rink with a DJ that was very active with kids, teens, and even adults all having a good time. The Bad - This place is run down. The lanes, carpeting, paint, overall are very old and could use some remodeling. Compared to a place like ACME Bowl or Lucky Strike just shows you how far behind some of these older bowling alleys are. We also had trouble with the bowling lane software we had two lanes, and it was very confusing to set up. I may still visit again because they prices are much cheaper than some of the new bowling lanes, and for good reason.

This place is very expensive but doesnt match the price. Like I wouldnt mind spending $22 an hour for a lane but the lanes are not buffed evenly and they are dry. Its just not worth the money. The service is not the greatest and the food is not worth the money it cost. I have paid less money to bowl and skate for much better service and establishment. I was overall very disappointed in my 1st experience to Lynnwood Bowl & Skate and more than likely will not be visiting again. Also, wont recommend at all for a place for a party. I believe with the money they charge is enough to get the lanes decent enough to bowl and make the food better. Its absolutely a shame.

The place is very nasty looking, very old and whatnot. Looks like this place used to be good, but every since they have been putting less work into it, and the staff dont do a good job. They have that look of not wanting to help, and dont want to be there. If they were to put money into the place to repair the "old place" look, and hired better trained staff, this place would be much better. If you want to skate, there are better places around the Seattle area, and the drive is worth it. If you want to bowl, same thing, there are much better bowl places around the Seattle area. Go there instead, much better, and the drive will be better.

We celebrated my daughters tenth birthday with a bowling party at Lynnwood Bowl & Skate. The staff was very easy to work with when planning the party, and excellent to work with during the event. The kids had a blast bowling! We also enjoyed the pizza and soda provided for the party. We had brought an ice cream cake, and Lynnwood Bowl & Skate was more than happy to store it in their freezer. When it came time to serve the cake they provided extra plates, forks and cake server along with a cup of hot water. So helpful! We would definitely consider celebrating another birthday at the Lynnwood Bowl & Skate! Thanks so much

I havent been roller skating in 15+ years. It was my kids first time. We had a blast! Its a pretty good deal for 3 hours of fun. We went on a Saturday at 4pm and ate dinner while we were there. It was pretty crowded, but not enough to put a damper on the evening. Dinner was OK. They have a family deal for $26. It comes with a large 2 topping pizza, a Cesar salad, and a pitcher of soda. We had a chicken bacon ranch pizza that was pretty good, but sausage and mushroom wasnt great. The of the family deals was plenty of food for 6 adults and two kids.
