Bowlmor Cupertino is, without a doubt, one of the worst institutions Ive ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Below is the full story of our experience with this embarrassingly unprofessional and inconsiderate organization with no regard for customer satisfaction. A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I decided to try bowling as a date night. We had never been to Bowlmor before, but we were in Cupertino and thought, why not give it a shot? When we entered, we paid to use bowling shoes and paid for use of the facilities. The sum total of what we spent was about $30. After one game, we werent sure if our usage fees covered more than a single game, so I decided to go check what was covered. The employee at the front desk told us that an unlimited number of games were covered by what we had paid upon entrance. I was incredulous so I explicitly asked him again if that really meant we could play as many games as we want without paying any more than we already had. He confirmed. We played a few more rounds of bowling and walked out, happy at what was overall a decent first bowling experience. Fast forward 3 weeks later and we receive a bank statement, indicating that charges of $87 had been applied by Bowlmor. At first we called the bank and spent 2 hours with the customer representative trying to clear up the possibility of identity theft. Luckily the rep. told us this probably wasnt the case but ensured us she would keep an eye on the account. The next logical step was to call Bowlmor as we clearly felt this was a mistake, thinking maybe we had been charged for the extra rounds that had we had played, but remembering that I had EXPLICITLY made an effort to check this before we played any additional rounds, I didn’t think this could be the case. My girlfriend called twice the day after she received the bank statement to get this sorted out. No one picked up, even though she called during business hours. She called the next day and was told by a front desk rep. to talk to the manager. When she finally got ahold of some manager, the manager told her to get in contact with the general manager who unsurprisingly was not available, so she left a message stating that she would like a reply the following day. The following day no one called, so around six p.m. my girlfriend called again and the rep. at the front desk said that the general manager was right beside her. When the general manager FINALLY got on the phone, it was clear she had not listened to any of the messages my girlfriend left for her earlier. After an incredibly rude conversation the general manager said she would do "some research" and get back to her at the end of that business day. We waited two days for a reply. Obviously she never called back. At this point my girlfriend was clearly very frustrated and told me to try to get in touch with them to get this sorted out. I was infuriated and ready to give them a piece of my mind, for not only LYING TO US, but also TAKING OUR MONEY, and not even bothering to get the issue sorted out. I called the general manager directly two days ago. She never picked up. I left her a message and insisted that she call us back to get this sorted out. I called again and was put in touch with another manager who said he would speak to the general manager directly. Fast forward another day and still no response from anyone. At this point I had given up, deciding that all we could really do was NEVER VISIT the organization again and make an effort to ensure that no decent hard-working people get gyped out of their money by Bowlmor again. Please take this as a sincere warning!! TLDR: In our experience the people behind Bowlmor are not only thieves that WILL UNRIGHTFULLY TAKE YOUR MONEY, but are horrendously unprofessional and inconsiderate. They have NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION or THEIR CUSTOMERS TIME. Spend your money here AT YOUR OWN RISK. This was a truly unpleasant experience, and I hope anyone reading this stops themselves before they go to this institution and risk suffering the same fate we have.

So I went to this place with my friend for a simple get together and we had an awful time. First when we arrived we were greeted with a 30 minute wait because the manager couldnt work the coupon we had correctly. This also happened to the party next to us. We waisted so many peoples time and I personally was embarrassed. Not to mention when we finally got our lane it broke after 20 minutes and we had to wait an extra 10 minutes to switch. We ordered food as well which took an hour. Even the drinks! Now Im not a professional chef or anything but a water and root beer should not take an hour to prepare.. but thats just me. Also our server was rude as well. My friend tried to asked her where the food was and she simply ingnored her and proceeded to walk away. And when I went to the front to complain the rude server came to out lane and said "Im sorry but our food is properly baked in an oven and not in a microwave so it might take a little longer." I am completely baffled. Luckily my friend and I didnt come for a gourmet meal and we just came to have fun so we did just that. But to anyone who is planning to have a party or something here I do not suggest it. I have never be served so poorly or treated so rudely.

We just had our 12 yr old sons birthday there last night....It was awful. We had 20 kids and spent the whole night chasing our server around trying to get service and reills of the soft drinks. An hour after everybody had eaten we still had dirty plates everywhere. We booked this party 2 weeks before and they called us the night before asking what food we had ordered, despite several emails back and forth the week before confirming. And of course the worst excuse possible "we are having staffing issues", that was from one of the managers i spoke with. You cannot charge over $1000 for a party and tell me you have staffing issues! They did not provide us with all the items promised.....only 1 cookie cake, we paid for 2, the managers contradicted each other about what we were supposed to receive. One said we should be grateful we received 1 big cookie, we were supposed to receive 2 small ones! Then the general manager states we should have received 2 large cookie cakes! We waited an hour for cookie ice cream sundaes....and when they came out the cookies were burnt.... My son never received the signed bowling pin that was promised. Very disappointed with our experience. Would not recommend this to anyone!

Strike is an intersting concept. Take the blacklight/loud music/disco ball novelty of midnight bowling that your average AMF does for a few hours on friday night and turn it into an all the time thing. Strike is kinda like the Dave and Busters of bowling. The Good: Restaurant Quality food! None of the typical deep fried fair you find in most bowling alleys. Plus, wait service so so dont have to go get the food yourself. Great atmosphere! The Bad: Pricey. You could bowl all night at most alleys for the cost of one game. Poor Maintenance. The ball returns constantly lose balls(dont even think about bringing your own equipment, its a nightmare), VERY dry lanes that may only be oiled once a month or so. Its good for something different, but not a place where anyone who has ever bowled before should consider going for real bowling.
