Should You Get Married Here?: Hell Yes. VENUE: Many guests have told us that it was one of, if not the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. The venue at Fireseed is unparalleled. As a nature/PNW loving, adventurous couple we knew we had to have our wedding here and toured it during the winter of 2015. It was still beautiful even then. What a shock it was to see all the gardens and flowers in full bloom on the wedding day! It was so beautiful. It was like a dream. I couldnt believe it. There is so much to do at Fireseed. The grounds are expansive - they have wooded areas, outdoor games, gardens, a large field, and a boardwalk that sits on a pond. We loved giving guests the freedom to roam and explore, as we wanted them to make their day their own as well. I cant say enough how beautiful the venue is in the summer. The flowers were so spectacular. We decided not to have an arch because the backdrop was too beautiful to cover up. The reception hall is spacious and beautiful. It has a classic, rustic charm with tasteful materials and decor. Perfect. SERVICE: Everyone got their food promptly during the reception, and during cocktail hour the drinks and food kept coming. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Again, Dawn and David are awesome. Dawn helped coordinate on the day of the wedding to kept things running smoothly. Huge weight off my shoulders. FOOD: Some guests have said it was the most delicious food they have ever had at a wedding. Personally, this is definitely true for myself and my family. It was so good. Everything from the cocktail drinks, to the main course, to dessert. I honestly wish I had eaten more. COMMUNICATION: We just had our wedding here last weekend and it was incredible. Dawn and Dave are just amazing. From the beginning Dave has answered every single question weve had and has never made us feel that anything we asked was unimportant. They made us feel like we were their only clients even if they probably were juggling a boatload of other e-mails. They have been extremely thorough and thoughtful in their communicate to us which was a big stress relief. In CLOSING: Fireseed is an incredible venue with so much to offer and within very reasonable price. The service is impeccable and the inclusiveness of the venue/food/dessert/rentals/day of coordinating helps SO much with planning. Ive heard many vendors now say that Fireseed is their favorite place to go. I am so thankful and feel so lucky we were able to get married here. I couldnt have asked for a more perfect wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly and felt like a fairy tale. Thank you Dawn and David.

Fireseed was absolutely perfect for our April 2014 wedding. When looking for a wedding venue this was actually the first place we visited and knew from the start it was perfect. We looked at more venues after that just to confirm our feelings, and nothing else compared. Many of the other venues were also more expensive and offered way less! In choosing April for our wedding in the Northwest, we knew there was a good chance of rain. Fireseed was perfect for this scenario since the outdoor grounds are beautiful, and the barn is just as amazing. Even if it were to pour rain, the day would have been beautiful. We lucked out with weather and were able to have the ceremony outside, which was an added bonus! Dave is so friendly and attentive and helpful in all the planning. He always responded to emails quickly, and was very patient with my endless questions during the preparations. Dawn is also very sweet and made sure everything ran smoothly during the weekend. She even helped me sew up my bustle during the reception when it broke! The food was spectacular. Many of my guests have commented multiple times how great it was and these are friends that I know arent saying that just to be nice. They all said they went back for seconds and thirds. Same with the cake. My only regret is that I didnt eat more of it! Overall, I have nothing but good things to say about Dave and Dawn and Fireseed. I would recommend it in a heartbeat (and already have to friends). The grounds and barn alone are enough to make your wedding day perfect, and Dave and Dawn are so spectacular and enjoyable that it just completes the package.

Dave & Dawn are fantastic! After looking for a wedding venue and driving all over Washington from Snohomish, Camano Island, Seattle, and beyond, we found the perfect venue in Langley. When turning down the drive to the facilities we felt a calm and knew it was the perfect venue for us. The food was amazing! Everyone at our wedding was impressed by the food, the atmosphere, location, and how smoothly everything was run. They even grow many of the fresh vegetables used. The grounds are beautiful, flowers, green, and such manicured lawns. We were blessed to have a beautiful, sunny, warm day in March! We moved our ceremony from inside the Fireseed hall to the lawn outside. Before the ceremony our guests were watching Eagles fly overhead. The daffodils are in bloom and created the perfect backdrop. Dave was awesome in coordinating all of the rentals, providing a full wait and bar staff. We felt like we had our wedding at a 5 star restaurant with the quality of the service. We were waited on all night by attentive staff and they provided everything to our expectations. I would highly recommend Dave & Dawn at the Fireseed to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue in the greater Seattle area. Every guest at our wedding commented on the amazing food, beautiful location, and how easy it was to get there. Do yourself a favor and checkout the Fireseed before booking any other venue!

From start to finish our experience getting married at Fireseed Estate on Whidbey Island was wonderful. Proprietors Dave and Dawn are as hands-on as you need, in our case we did not have a wedding planner and they provided tremendous guidance and insight throughout our year of planning. They ensured that all logistics were prepared for and executed seamlessly and flagged any details we may have overlooked. By managing food preparation and rentals they make the day manageable without being remotely cookie-cutter, a rare balance when it comes to wedding venues. The property itself could not be more gorgeous. A true Northwest estate, it offers an on-site organic garden, striking flower beds, poplar trees and a lake in the background. A stunning backdrop for guests and photography! Friends and family are still raving about the food, all seasonally selected and prepared in their on-site kitchen, there is no dry chicken or well done steak here. Their buttermilk fried chicken is the best my husband and I have ever tasted. Prompt on email or phone and 100% dialed-in on site, it is clear Dave and Dawn are experts at what they do and I could not recommend them as a team and Fireseed as a venue more wholeheartedly. It was the perfect day, morning showers and all.

My husband and I have a large family and as such, have attended quite a lot of weddings, been to many venues, and experienced all different kinds and levels of reception service, but the operation that Dave and Dawn run is by far the best we have seen. We just had our wedding last weekend and it was phenomenal. All of our guests agree with us - the number of compliments they gave would completely overwhelm this review. We lost count of how many times a family member or friend told us that they thought everything from the grounds, to the food, to the staff was simply impeccable, and that ours was the best wedding they have been to. Even if it were just the beauty of the setting for our ceremony or just the fantastic meal they prepared for our guests, we would still be impressed with Fireseed Catering. The amount of effort Dave and Dawn put in to help us plan the entire event, coordinate rentals, and the offers to help us find a florist and photographer - their availability, patience, and flexibility - are all truly remarkable.
