This place is in a great location – right next to the Des Moines Marina and the beach, can’t beat it. The event center and other spaces are truly unique not to mention historical. I’ve been to a number of local Chamber events and a Holiday part here and they are always top notch. The newly renovated spaces here lend themselves to almost any type of event. The large outdoor spaces all come with great views of the water and did I mention the beach area?

Clean and inviting. Great area for picnics, walking, frisbee or playing some ball. Beach and marina dock are nearby. I would highly recommend this location for special events or just to go out and enjoy the scenery. Park at the marina and walk or you might get a fine for not reading the signs saying stay out and employee only etc. Signs are very clear and those who got tickets should learn to read signs before assuming you own the world.

Great for Birthday party gatherings. Or, whatever you deemed legit for a party. Lots of room. Lots of parking. Perfect in the summer.
