Any movie buff will love walking into this place, theyve got great decorations, movie posters and a great relaxed lounge atmosphere. The idea of dinner while you eat and drink is also a home run, but the execution and quality isnt there. First of all the bathrooms are pretty disgusting. Ive been here multiple times but today was definitely the worst and my wife had an even more negative experience in the female bathroom. I have been in porto-potties that smell better than the male restroom. I would consider giving them a pass on this if they were really busy and understaffed but there were about 15 employees in the lobby. For contrast there were maybe 15 customers in our showing. Secondly, my wife and I ordered drinks, pizza and I got a burger and fries. They were out of half of the items on the menu which I thought was pretty ridiculous but it didnt seem to phase the server, probably a regular occurance. Thankfully they had all the items we wanted to order, right?! Not exactly. The mojito I ordered was 8 or 9 dollars and was 70 percent Ice (fairly standard) but couldnt even taste the alcohol in it. For comparison, my wifes alcoholic milkshake was stronger than my mojito. Also the drinks, popcorn, and food all came out at the same time, around 40+ minutes after we ordered. We would have had no problem with our main course taking 40 minutes but popcorn and drinks should have definitely been served before our main course. When the food finally arrived, you could tell just by touching it that it had been sitting on the counter waiting to go out for quite a while. The French fries to my burger were not even warm to the touch and they tasted stale, like day old McDonalds fries, this is not hyperbole. To be fair, the Drunken oreo milk shake that my wife ordered was delicious but obviously not good enough to cover for the rest of the blunders of the night. Dont come here unless you are expecting to pay for a 3 star dinner but only receiving McDonalds quality food and drink. To the owner/community manager tactlessly responding to the rest of the reviews down below stating the same thing Ive said in my review: dont bother responding to my review, its apparent that there is no care put into managing this place.

TL;DR Not 21+ - defeats the entire purpose! Pathetic sized beer glasses for $5 and dishonest charges. We have been going to this Cinebarre since it opened. We loved it, and we were glad and sad to see it pick up in popularity. Since then everything has been getting smaller and the prices have been going up. For a while we figured it was to keep afloat since it wasnt as well know. Since it has become more popular (sold out showings), drinks and food have been getting smaller and crappier and prices have gone up. If youre hummas platter tastes like tangy carbonated vinegar, dont eat it. If you order a beer, expect to spend $5 and expect it to be in the size of those plastic cups they give to kids at restaurants. In fact, if you go to Dennys and order a kids orange juice, Im sure you would get more orange juice, than you do beer at cinebarre in Issaquah. If you ask for a water - you get this dinky glass the size of a mini mason jar. We got the regular hamburger, even a Big Mac would have been bigger. My fiance ordered Jalapenos on the side and they charged for $2 side of fries. Thats pretty dishonest. If you dont have a sku to charge Jalapenos, then dont charge - let alone $2 for them. Wtf. Or at least thats what I assume they would have told me if I brought up the issue, so why bother. Im also kind of pissed they have paper instead of the white boards. We go here a lot and Ive seen this slow decay in the last year. I would speak up, but I dont have time, and who ever keeps ordering smaller and smaller glassware - probably already knows. You might as well get a nice big burger from Red Robin down the street and stick to just popcorn. Youll probably save a good chunk of money that way. Sad, but thats where were at now.

Consistently the worst service ever with the laziest employees. Tonight we went to see John Wick 2, ordered food and a beer around 7:15. The server said they are a little backed up in the kitchen and our food would take about 40 min. Over an hour later, we finally received our beers, but the server just dropped them off with no update regarding our food order. Two hours later - still no food, and no one ever came by to say there was an issue. At this point, I went to find a manager. When I went out in the lobby, there was not one employee behind the bar, but at least 10 employees standing around - two of which were on the ground counting their tips. Upon pointing out to the manager that if they were so backed up, why wouldnt these 10 employees be racing around - he said he didnt want to respond because it would just be an excuse. He said he would check on our food and comp it for our troubles, and send us free popcorn. I said I dont want the popcorn, and could care less about the manager comping our food. We came to enjoy the movie and eat. About five minutes after returning to my seat, the original server finally showed up to give us an update. She said, "Did you receive your food?" My response was no. She further stated, "Our kitchen is closed, dont worry we will not charge you for your food." How kind of them, that were not going to charge us for the food we never received?! Heather Reed is apparently the General Manager of the Issaquah location. Instances like this have happened consistently at the Issaquah and Mountlake Terrace locations.

There arent many theaters Ive visited for which I can say Ill never return, actually I believe this may be the only one. If I could give a half star I would. My party of five entered into the theater where our movie was playing and we almost turned around to leave immediately. The smell was rancid, it was worse than the old $1.00 theater in Tacoma years ago and thats being generous. The previews before the movie were very loud to the point of being on the edge of uncomfortable. I love great quality sound, but simply having the volume control to near max, isnt great quality sound. The food was well below average and the drinks were watered down, almost as if they were running out of alcohol and had to stretch it out. My daughters pizzas were warm but a frozen pizza we could have brought from home would have tasted better. After tasting their pizza I can honestly say it was the worst pizza Ive ever eaten. The price of our meal of 5 was outlandish, $22.50 for 5 bottled waters??? Our final price for 2 personal pizzas, 1 burger, 1 hummus plate, 1 plate of chicken tenders, 1 root beer and 5 bottled waters was close to $145.00 including tip. Youll have a better and less expensive food experience if you order take out from Red Robin, nearby the theater and sneak it in. Do yourself a favor, if you are thinking of visiting this theater for a great experience, ... .dont.

Pretty cool experience for our first time here. We came to see Lion in 2017. We arrived about 2 hours early to enjoy food and drinks at the bar before heading into the theater. We shared a pizza which arrived in about 20 minutes and was hot and delicious. We had 2 rounds of cocktails that were well made by our bartender. He took great care of us all night and we never felt forgotten about or ignored, points for that Cinebarre! After dinner and cocktails we asked the bartender to order some popcorn, he ran into the back and a few moments later came out with a fresh hot batch of popcorn with butter ready to eat. We went and sat down in our seats about 15 minutes before the previews and looked over the drinks menu again. I decided to order one more drink in the theater which was well made and they bought me the bill before the movie ended. I wish I could remember the name of our server, I want to say Matt? Excellent service, I hope we see you next time we visit cinnebarre for date night! TIPS: Arrive very early, relax, enjoy yourself, eat and drink at the bar before your movie. I imagine eating in the theater would be fine too, but Id rather be able to focus on the film and enjoy a drink. Cheers!
