Wasgington Park is an historic park with numerous amenities in a low crime city. It has been updated numerous times over the past 130 or so years. The upper park has a baseball field, trees, picnic areas, a childrens playground and a clubhouse. The lower park has additional softball fields, room to play soccer, tennis courts and ties into the neighboring Crown Memorial State Beach and Crab Cove parks.

Great Park for Families. Two jungle gyms, one for the younger kids, one for the older kids. Picnic tables, restroom nearby, baseball fields, large grass fields. The Jungle Gyms are only partially enclosed and the park is too close to 2 very busy streets that come together to create one of the busiest intersections in Alameda, for this reason I wont give it 5 Stars.

This has got to be one of the best parks I have ever been to. Its so big and is attached to other parks like Crown Beach and Crab Cove. Its a beautiful place to go walking with the family. Theres so many places the kids can stop along the way and play and enjoy the scenery.

From ball fields and hoops to BBQ area and childrens playground, a little bit of frolic for everyone. It also abuts East Bay Regional Parks Crown Beach and Crab Cove, so it seems an ample space on the water.
