Great views, lots of good birding, a nice place to experience the Bays beauty juxtaposed against the marvel of the Bay Bridge, The Port of Oakland and the San Francisco skyline. We like bringing the kids here because there is lots of room to run around, bike, and explore the shore. Be prepared for windy conditions and for miscellaneous nasty bits of trash, but beyond that a awesome place to visit.

Really happy to find this park, hidden past the freeways with wonderful, serene views. Theres lots of places to walk and bike, but be careful when traveling to the park on foot- theres lots of truck traffic and no sidewalks in spots. Lots of picnic tables and spaces to sit and enjoy, plus little booths with info about the area. Perfect place for a lazy afternoon!

Nearly deserted when I went. The paths to get here are a bit sketchy (walkers,bikers and joggers exercise care)... sallright, but dont know if Id return, view wasnt "all that" . Still witg all the ndustrial dock work equipment nearby and closeup views of the "walkers" (cranes) might be a draw for some

Looks nice but its not accessible by bus. Walking distance from the last closest bus stop is about 30 minutes. Probably explains a lot of peoples comments here about it not being busy. AC transit and Oakland Park service need to do better to make this park accessible to all the citizens of Oakland.

Great spot. We enjoyed the views and trails. The park has some shaded picnic tables and BIG grills! Wear shoes because I passed over several broken glass bottles. *Watch out for truck drivers. They drive illegally fast on the passing road. Speed limit is 30 mph and Im sure they do over 50 mph.

Great park with good views of the Bay Bridge and San Francisco. There are some picnic tables and some easy trails around that area. Head south and climb onto the lookout tower. It gives you great views and lots of information about the area.

This is a great park to walk or watch the container ships come & go. Just be sure to keep to sidewalks since the goose poop is pretty thick & slippery on the grass. There is plenty of security to keep the park safe. It does close at dusk.

An amazing place to watch the ships roll in: it feels like you could almost reach out and touch them! Good place to fly your drone, just dont go over the port. Kind of a long boring ride to get there but worth the trip from time to time.
