BRIDES BEWARE - Do not book here! Words cannot express my disappointment. Not only do these people not keep true to the words they say when you view the property [later telling you to reread the details outlined in your contract,] but they are unflexible, argumentative & expensive! Two nights at the inn for 2 people ONLY, hideous metal folding chairs and some tables for over $6,000 after tax [no set up or tear down, strict rehearsal & day of hours, all outside vendors, ABC licenses & event insurances required!] Still... we wanted an enchanted forest theme, the trees with lights above are pretty & they seemed to have so much up & coming so we commited! The week before our ALL OUTDOOR ceremony & reception, Virginia Beach announced flood warnings and strong winds due to a HURRICANE the Friday & Saturday of our event. Though it didnt rain until Saturday evening, the damage was done & a decision had to be made. There was no way 150 guests could have trampled through the mud & water all day without an accident! Fortunately, our wonderful caterer had space to offer us at their venue indoors [at no additional charge!] so we notified Country Villa Inn of our change in plans. We did not stay at the inn or go anywhere near it the entire weekend yet the owners were completely unwilling to negotiate ANY refund of our money & stated though we were declared in a state if emergency "they cannot control the weather & that is the nature of their business." I understand we signed a contract, but most fair businesses would consider a hurricane an extenuating circumstance! How do you sleep at night knowing youve kept THAT MUCH money from a family for absolutely no services rendered? Wed be happy with our deposit or half the money considering they couldve had guests that weekend, but no. I wouldnt wish the stress & anger caused by this establishment on my worst enemy [during what should be the happiest time in your life.] Please take my advice & look else where when planning your wedding!

Best bed and breakfast I have ever been to. Glad I chose this place for my engagement weekend. It didnt look like much when we first pulled up, but it is better than I expected even after pouring over the pictures before making a decision. The owners are extremely hospitable, she even made me a big breakfast to take back to my ship and share with my buds on the last morning there. Oh yes, and the lady can COOK! I will be heading back there some day soon!

Beautiful, romantic, cozy Bed and Breakfast. Petie is wonderful. It has a pool and hot tub. Quite area to relax in and close to Sandbridge and Virginia Beach ocean front.
