The Adventures of Dan&Stella

This is a small, but interesting park. Federal soldiers encamped here over the winter and there are quite a few archaeological sites to explore, mainly forts and hut locations. Also a rebuilt example of a soldiers hut and a few cannon. I found it to be very peaceful smd think it would be enjoyable as a local to hike the trails. I went for the history aspect, and though it isnt the site of a major battle, I still found it to be worth the stop .

Great historical site with occasional reenactments. The well preserved camp sites of what has been referred to as the Unions Valley Forge make this a gem for historians.
