Variety of Activities such as fishing, boating (your own boats or can rent kayaks soon), picnic areas, batting cage, baseball fields, look out points over water, walking on sidewalks or some walking in woods. If you prefer walking in the woods, this isnt the park. There is a long paved path begins at entrance and continues into park. Parts of park are under construction to add amenities. However, you can still access most of the park. Permanent restrooms are past the one car bridge and all the way down the road, by baseball field. Believe open seasonally only. Picnic shelters require reservation in summer. But, number of single picnic tables available year round.

My 5 year old son asked me why they only had a sign for people to pick up after their pets but not "themselves" since the park was littered with trash. "Please pick up after yourselves" as well. Keep this place nice and clean for the next person. This is a good place to launch your boats, kayaks, canoes, etc. Just make sure to pay the fee and put it in the box or else you will be ticketed. There is ample parking for vehicles with or without trailers on an adjacent lot.

This is a multi-use park, with ball fields, a batting cage, picnic pavilions, a hiking trail and a boat launch. The 40 mile long Fairfax County Cross County Trail starts (or ends) in the park. From May until late October the L.L. Bean store in Tysons Corner offers kayaking and SUP (stand-up paddle boarding) classes at the boat launch area. Close views of nesting osprey from March through July. All this, and there is no entrance charge.

This place is quite large and well maintained. Has numerous walking/running paths and lots of bins, which is important when walking your dogs. Shuts down during winter - no shops or restrooms are open, but that is not uncommon. They still maintain the area year round and have it open until sunset. This place is also a historic site, it used to be a womens prison so there are signs that explain the history as well.

Occoquan regional park is the most neautiful and relaxing parks I had ever visited. The staff was very helpful when I needed help finding a suitable spot for a baby shower without paying for a shelter. Instead of trying to sell me a shelter, the staff at Occoquan park held a private and serene area for me and my guests. I highly recommend visiting this historic and beautiful park.

One of the better parks int he area with a beautiful walking path and well maintained appearance. The site is engrossed with history and is a delight for visitors of all ages. The views are fantastic and the convenient location right off I-95 and Rt.123 make it an easy and enjoyable day visit.

This park is beautiful, has well maintained facilities (bathrooms, etc...) and parking. There are plenty of trails, scenic views and a nice boat ramp and dock. Its a great place for picnics and the pavilions are perfect for group gatherings. Well definitely visit again!

Pros: Super pretty, some gorgeous trails, and a lovely view over the water. Cons: They shut the bathrooms down during winter! By March in Virginia, its safe to assume the weather will be nice enough its worth having the bathrooms open for guests.

Nice walking trails with a great view of the river and Occoquan. The pavilions are nice for gatherings. Park has a batting cage and boat ramp. They do charge a few for launching kayaks which seemed odd.

Great park. Does not charge entrance. Has access to the river and is a great place for fishing with little kids. There is also boat ramp and plenty of picnic areas. Those need to be reserved in advance.

I go up there and go fishing and have a great time. However you need to keep kids out of the water when there is people who are trying to fish and give the fishermen some respect and to be courteous.

A lot of stuff to do. You can rent a pavilion,you can rent Kayaks and canoes, you can fish, you can barbecue, there are several baseball and soccer fields, just so much to do.
