My dog and I like to walk around here. Roughly a 1.75 mike walk, but has the ability to become a walk of any distance if you make laps of the island. Beautiful scenery and able to step out of the world for a bit. Can get crowded on weekends with great weather.
Great place where you can relax in the afternoon, you can take your kids and dogs with you. It is a 1.6 miles so if you want to go for a jog I hope that if helps you, it has a creek on the side of the sidewalk which is really nice to see it it relaxes you.
Well-maintained path with a nice loop around the island. Leashed pets allowed and pickup bag stations are available. Signs around the park detailing its historical significance are great.
Love the scenery...easy well visible path..dog friendly....great for walking...families...runners ..of a 1.6 i think it is ...isnt enough easy to loop a round a few times...
Beautiful setting with well maintained trails for walking or jogging. Great history lessons too. You can almost see the DC skyline popping out the hill!
Love this park for walking with all ages and dogs! Great climbing for all ages as well while learning some history about the quarry!

A great, educational place to take kids and let them run around. Be warned, they will quickly be worn out.
A very peaceful place to observe nature. Not many know about this historical place. Fun for kids.

Nice little nature trail about 1.5 miles. You can even do some fishing there.
We were stuck in traffic 20 minutes ago and this place is so chill
