Direct quote out of the short haired older ladys mouth at the snack bar to an orderly group of 7 golfers who spent a combined $550 at their course: "Alright hurry up and order! Whos next!? Theres 7 people in here and youre creating havoc for me!" I play roughly 100 rounds/ year and have never been treated like I wasnt welcome to give you my money, be polite, and repair my divots. Leave your personal problems at home and dont chew out 7 people because you havent managed to get a credit card machine in 2017. None of us will be back. One star for starter, one for the pro, and for the cart guy who politely took our picture.

Locally owned and operated course. Owners on site daily. This course is the best golf course for the money in the Richmond metro area. A really fun and challenging tree lined layout. Par 72, with 5 par 3s, and 5 par 5s. Many dogleg holes and undulating greens. Ive played this course dozens of times and very much enjoyed it every time. Less than $45 on weekends and $35 weekdays. Afternoon rates and walking rates even lower. Wonderful grill food and staff are very nice additional benefits. Play it once and you will want to come back often. Simply, a very nice golf course.

i had played at b/w a few years ago and it was pretty nice-ok. then for some reason it had really tanked. heard from some friends they had gotten their issues straightened up and wanted to play today 7/10/2016. the course and greens are in great condition. the variety/diversity is also great. not so simple as just hitting a ball on a driving range. the greens were in great condition and none are flat. the breaks add to the challenge. well worth what you pay even for their weekend rate. no- its not agusta but its also not $200 per round

A great course that offers challenges for all skill levels. The greens are immaculate and the fairways play excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. The star of the course though is their Starter, he is a WWII vet. One of the nicest people you will meet. Prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for a nice round of golf.

The best public course Ive played in Richmond metro area. Near perfect greens with a well maintained fairway. Not only did the course impress but the prices were unheard of. $20 to walk 18 or $34 to ride during weekdays.

Needed to amend my review. Im not sure what happened but the usually immaculate greens have just become trash this summer. Heat? Blight? Whatever it is, they dont look good right now
