I normally dont write negative reviews but my experience with this golf course forced me to. Every year a group of my friends and I go camping and try a new golf course. This year was not different and we settled on Belle Springs Golf. The golf course by itself is a very nice course. It plays long but it is very forgiving. The fairways and greens were in good shape for July and everything was green. To give you a little history on our outing we usually do a scramble type game. Its one group of 4 and the other group has 3. We book two separate tee times and we all play fairly quickly. There is one person in our group who does not play golf. He sold his clubs recently and so we thought he could just share his partners clubs. We are scrambling after all. NO, not the case this crazy ranger decides that he has to have clubs and makes him go inside and rent a set. There was no reason for this. The pace of the game would not have changed any if he had been using his partners clubs. It was a scramble after all. The second gripe is the charge you for water.... There is no coolers any where on the course. They say it is a health risk... I have golfed on many, many courses in my life and I say it is Health risk NOT to have water on the course.. It was 93 freakin degrees out there. Thats my rant... Just feel that people need to know before they golf there what they are getting in to.

I was passing through town and was suggested this golf course. To be fair, I actually liked the golf course but they have the rudest starters/rangers I have ever encountered. It was interesting how when they interact with their known regulars/buddies they light up like a Christmas tree with friendliness, but treat the others like we are reporting to our parole officer, actually worse. I did play the next day at Toftrees in State College, and they couldnt have been more friendly, you should drop in there once in a while and learn how to treat your paying customers, I however will never be back to Belle Springs.

Course in great shape. Regular pricing a bit high but ask about low rate day of the week and check online specials.
