I LOVE this place!!! It’s beautiful. I guess I love it so much because I am able to bring my 6 yr old son where he can fish and play on their beautiful property and drink wine all from where I can see him. The Wine is delicious. The first time I tried the Raspberry merlot I fell in love! Then I had the Mandolin white (and I stopped drinking white a while ago due to the acid) and this white wine has no negative effects on my stomach and its very very tasty. I LOVE the red blend they make as well. Spending a day at Dukee as the kids call it is the best day ever. A fun filled day for all of the family with wonderful friendly staff and no one is rushing you to leave. I am a loyal member now and will continue to be as long as I can.

We were headed to a different winery that we had been to a few times before. For some reason we decided to stop at Doukenie instead. What a find! I liked all the wines but am partial to the cab sauv. There are a lot of pleasant wines in NOVA. this vineyard and winery stood out for its pure charm. Beautiful setting, not uncommon, but the ducks on the pond, the horses, the cattle grazing and most particularly the owners mother. She offered a sample of her homemade Baklava. I dont think I have ever met a more charming woman of her age. She states it is 92 1/2. I have never enjoyed a tasting as much as I did here. It was a wonderful surprise.

Visited for the Destination Races half marathon in June of 2017. The property is extensive and pretty nice, but the road leading to it was a bit of a challenge for my car (low ground clearance). We tasted two of the hosts wines during the post-race festival--both nice, but neither memorable to buy a bottle. If I came back on a wine adventure, I would definitely check out the outdoor deck seating and take in the wonderful view!

Our favorite Loudoun County winery! A sense of family, friendly staff, beautiful setting and delicious wines. You always feel welcome here. Take the taste of science tour, incredibly interesting and delicious. The summer bistro nites are awesome! Good food, yummy wine and music!! Going to the Harvest Fest also. We have been Heritage Club members for 1.5 years, cant wait for the 2 year mark...bigger discount!

This Winery wasnt even on our radar when we drove out to Hillsboro Vineyards. But on our way back we found out this winery and we we glad that we checked out this place. Doukenie Winery is located at a nice place with a nice view and a open area for hanging out to enjoy a bottle of wine. Some of their wine we tasted had good character and taste. Staff was friendly and helpful! We would go back there again!

Website says tasting room closes at 6, showed up at 5:32 and they tell us wine tasting ended at 5:30. Then as we are leaving a man walks in and starts a tasting for another group. It seems the four lazy female employees are the problem who were sitting behind the counter just drinking glasses of wine. We stayed for a glass of wine but will never return again with such poor customer service.

We visited this winery as part of a birthday celebration a while ago, and the wines were quite good I thought. However, the best part for us was a garlic cheese they sell that you can take and eat out on their patio with homemade warm bread! It was a delicious cheese, nice garlic flavor and very fresh bread. A wonderful trip out into the country from DC, and highly recommended!

Unfortunately we didnt get to taste the wines b/c we were heading back home but we did get to have a picnic by the picturesque pond. Beautiful view, surrounded by mountains and great for a romantic sit on the ground traditional picnic or you can use thier various picnic tables. Recommend having bug spray though b/c you are so close to the pond water.

Really liked this place. They had a dog (charlie) to greet you at the door. All of their wines were good and they had a nice variety. The inside is open and welcoming. Large not crowded and they have a lot of nice outdoor patio space for spring and summer. The wine vintner is French so all of the wines are aged in French oak.

The vineyard itself was a very pretty place, but the wine was awful. We sampled 7 different wines in our tasting and disliked all but the desert wine. I love wine and visited many vineyards in the area, and the quality of wine here was definatley the worst.

Celebrated sisters birthday here. A reservation was helpful because the 7 of us got our own personal tasting bar. The server for the tasting was fun. Wine was great, and we purchased a few bottles to take with us!

This is a small winery with no grapes and a very small unattractive bar---much nicer places nearby
