Scott and Linda, the winemakers and owners, were gracious hosts the day we arrived. We thought the winery was open until 6pm based on our Google search, but when we arrived at a few minutes after 5pm, they were closing up for the day. Scott said he would be happy to stay open for us to try his wines. You can tell he takes pride in his work with the beautiful tasting room and the way he describes his wine-making process. We were given a very detailed tasting and enjoyed the wines. We enjoy big, bold reds and the wines need a little work to get there because they were lighter than what we typically like, but overall, this winery is worth the visit and we will definitely be back.

Three reasons to visit this winery. 1. Great wines! The owners take time to craft them and guide you through tasting. 2. Family and dog friendly! If its not too busy, dogs are allowed. I mean, they havent thrown us and our mangy mutts out yet. 3. Great wines! Had to be said twice. Very few places have wines aged as long as Winding Road. Great wine club too.

Although a new winery (6yrs) this one is a "keeper". The wines are fresh and delightful but the people make the visit exceptional. Very refreshing to see a new winery without all the snobbery. Will definitely re-visit.
