Ive been to several beautiful vineyards across the United States from Napa and Sonoma to Arizona and "wine country" in Virginia, and Saude Creek Vineyards is a real gem, especially for a young winery. We decided to stop by on a day where they had lost power, but it didnt seem to matter. For $17, we did the premium tasting that included 12 total wines (8 classic and 4 reserves), and we were not disappointed. Every single wine we tried was excellent, which is remarkable for a relatively newer vineyard (only about 5 years old). My personal favorite is the Vidal Blue. Aside from the wine, the property is gorgeous with beautiful rolling hills and views of the Pamunkey River. This would be an excellent place to have a wedding. We sat on the rooftop deck and enjoyed a couple of bottles after the tasting. Our hostess was also very friendly and knowledgeable, and we felt right at home. I cant wait to go back the next time we are in the area.

Pulling up to the vineyard, we were very excited. The building was beautiful and so was the view. Inside, the place felt more like a club then a winery. It was loud and crowded and we had to saddle up to the bar to be recognized. Not a very relaxing feeling like you usually get at a winery. Three of us were there for wine tasting and we were really bummed that we were forced to taste wines that were pre-chosen instead of choosing a few from a list of wines. The tasting was rushed by the bartender which was also absurd. We ended up buying 2 wines, a dessert wine and one called barrel 76, which was fairly expensive. We opened the barrel 76 a few days later and it was disgusting. It didnt taste anything like the wine we tasted earlier. We ended up tossing the bottle. I would never go to this place again.

One of the best in the area! We live in Virginia Beach and drove an hour and a half and will happily make the drive again. The wines were wonderful, I didnt dislike any of them. The white and blushes are my favorite, but the reds are good too (not to strong of an oak taste). The lady who gave us the tasting (Donna), was super informative and really friendly. The outside patio was beatiful, with wood cover and fans. Lots of comfortable chairs to lounge in, and they gave us a ice bucket to keep our wine chilled. The views were stunning and the location easy to find.

Saude Creek is an up coming winery with boundless potential that is on the track to sucess! Beautiful facility, grounds, and vineyard. The staff is very professional, hospital and welcoming. They have live music and events on a regular basis. The wines are decent and have a good variety. They have catered BBQ onsite during the weekends. You wont be disappointed with this place! I see allot of good things and potential coming from Saude Creek!

We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the driveway and saw an impressive building housing the tasting room and special event rooms. Person running the tasting was very informative of local wineries and events. Pours were a little on the shy side but adequate to get an overview of their style. Best if you like whites. Reds just not deep enough for us.

First time going was 8-7-16. Had a great time. The staff is super friendly, the patrons friendly as well. The atmosphere was very nice with a good musician playing outside on the patio. Absolutely loved it. The wines are off the charts good. I highly recommend take some family and or friends and spend some time here. Im willing to bet you will love it too.

The wine was great and the view was great. The atmosphere, however left a bit to be desired. Way too loud both inside and outside on the porch. Many patrons seemed not to care how loud their conversations and laughter became. It was more of a bar atmosphere than that of a winery.

Wonderful venue and friendly folks! Many places to hang out. Something for everyone. Nice selection of wines and the BBQ guy has some tasty plates to enjoy. Clearly has quite a following. Here on a rainy Sunday afternoon and the place is packed. Live music to boot.

Saude Creek is a vineyard located about 25 minutes from Williamsburg. Wine selections are very good. What sets this vineyard apart from some of the others is the beautiful landscaped grounds and spectacular chalet style lodge with a large open hearth fireplace.

Lovely view. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Great tasty varietals and with an awesome price point for their wines, this place is a must attend on the wine trail (especially the tastings classic 7 wines $10 and 11 wines $17). I plan to return.

Very pretty views, friendly and attentive staff and some good wine. Great wrap-around porch to chill out in an Adirondack chair. BBQ vendor there on the weekend which was a welcome surprise.
