I highly, highly recommend Classical Ballet Theatre. My daughter has taken ballet classes at CBT for three years now, and we have been met with nothing but warmth, encouragement, and welcome by the lovely teachers there. All the classes are structured, engaging, and age-appropriate. And as a parent, I am extremely happy with CBTs highly esteemed faculty and staff, the well-developed curriculum, the challenging summer programs, the philanthropic community outreach, and the marvelous productions. Taking classes at CBT will teach your child more than just what he or she can do in the dance studio: he or she will learn lessons of perseverance, dedication, organization, time management, resilience -- all qualities which will make them a better person -- no matter where they end up in life.

CBT is the gold standard for ballet instruction in the Reston/Herndon area. The faculty members have demonstrated time and again in the over five years that my daughter has been a student that they genuinely care about her and her success - but more importantly, with her overall welfare. My daughter has grown as a dancer and as a person as a result of this studio. The curriculum is thorough and professional and has prepared my child to compete (and succeed) at the national level. I cannot say enough positive things about these instructors. They routinely go out of their way to make sure the students needs are met.

My daughter has been a student here for 2 years now and absolutely loves it. Since CBT is on the smaller side, she has gotten a lot of attention, all of the teachers know her really well, and she has made some really nice friendships with some of the other dancers. She had never done ballet prior to CBT, and she has learned so much in a such a short amount of time here. And she loves having the opportunity to perform on stage. I feel really fortunate that this has become a part of our lives.

horrible management...one good instructor they have there - their artistic director but he cant handle every class....the rest of the teachers are plain horrible, absolutely unprofessional
