The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They are always willing to share any advice they have. You may have to pay a dollar or two more for items such as filters and supplies than you would at a giant corporate pet store, but then you wouldn’t get the same one on one attention and the selection is the best within 3 hours Roanoke. The staff will also order any item you are looking for, supply or specimen alike. The hours are great. Always open when people who work have the time to go. Open late in the evenings, until 9, and weekends. What more could you ask for.

Very Good! I really wish we had a place like this in Charlottesville. He has lots of stuff, and is happy to order in anything you want that he doesnt happen to have on hand. Prices are very good too. I make sure to stop in any time I am anywhere near the area.
