If you love playing golf, there is a gem of a course at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains that you need to visit. It is the course at the Old Trail Golf Club located in Crozet, va. The course not only offers beautiful views, but generous lush fairways, well maintained greens, level tee boxes, and regularly tended to sand traps. The pace of play is generally good and the staff works hard to make sure that it is reasonable for everyone, so that it doesnt detract from the enjoyment of the game. Without a doubt, The Clubs Head Professional, Claudia Ferrini, is top-flight. She is welcoming, friendly, and customer oriented, as are all of the staff at Old Trail. In my opinion, all who work there, including the course superintendent and groundskeepers, work hard to make both members and occasional golfers feel at home there. If you are looking for a great golf experience, give Old Trail Golf Club a shot. You wont regret it. Sent from my iPad

Course conditions were excellent. The first three holes were a little intimidating, but overall course was challenging without being overly difficult. Staff friendly, especially the starter, Carey. He made us feel welcome and even checked on us a few times and gave us some course tips.

Great course but pro rushed us on 16 th hole even though we were well within the recommended time for playing the course. And she did the same thing last time we played there 6 months ago. Leaves a bad taste for the experience probably will not return, ever!
