This is a great spot for convenient and comfortable nature viewing. Maybe five minutes of walking south and east from the closed gate off Glover takes you to several viewing platforms on the water. I spotted three adult cranes, terns, swallows, ducks, pelicans, and more in about thirty minutes. Great spot that I hope is developed with care this fall.

For anyone trying to get a hold of the nature center, you cant. The phone number listed on all the sites is a cell phone number for someone, not the nature center. Havent been able to get ahold of them in over a year. If you find a better number, let me know or good luck!!

Nice spot for a quick walk. I just wish it was dog friendly for more of the summer and fall.
