Great view overlooking the waterfall and a great people watching place. Our group was having a splendid time and despite the extremely slow service the waitress was very kind and professional and helped us pick out first two bottles of wine and appetizers. Our waitress apologized for the slow service and told us it was just her and three managers who were hanging out inside around the bar drinking with a group of 12 women who were there for a party. Before we ordered the third bottle, I went to use the rest room. When walking back, I was told I needed to be wearing a collared shirt since there was a very strict dress code and since I was not following this dress code, we had to leave. I talked to the manager who said he was very sorry but we had to leave. I asked where it was posted, why we were allowed to stay for almost two hours and if he would comp out wine since we should not even be there. Thru his slurred speech, he told me the posting was on the entrance to the floor above us and since we had a tab, that would cover the wine. Then my 3/4 bottle of wine took over and I told him to go ahead and call the police and went back to the table. Well, out waitress was so embarrassed, she got an assistant manager who came and apologized, but we left soon after that. Bottom line, if the manager knew how to run a bar they would have noticed someone right away not following the dress code and could have handled it very differently. What manager does not do a walk around every hour or so just checking on the customers? They should not be drinking on the job and definitely not drunk. It was a really nice place with tons of potential, but there are many more customer friendly bars in the area willing to take my money. First and last visit to Crush.

I had by birthday party here and was GREATLY disappointed. We entered and seated ourselves (like the sign said) and were waiting for 10 minutes before anyone came to greet us or bring menus. I had to go to the bar to get someone to come over. The waiter was clueless about the options on the menu. He looked drunk, actually. He wasted water on one of my guests. (She said he poured water on her, but Im trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.) He got orders wrong, dropped silverware and was reluctant to give us new forks as if we should have been ok with eating with a utensil off the floor. When he did bring another fork, his hand was on the part that goes into your mouth. How nasty!! We were in the private dining room and the atmosphere was extremely dead in there. We asked to be moved to the rooftop and we were told different answers by different people, but ultimately we were not allowed to move up there. We had to finish our dinner, which was mediocre at best, in the private dining room. It took about 25 minutes for them to close out our tabs, which is ridiculous! Then I complained to the manager, who promised to call me to follow-up on the incident, but he never did. This was a horrible experience for a birthday!! My guests, which were all minorities, mentioned to me that they wondered if we were being treated that way because of our race. Its definitely possible. Crush seemed to have mostly White guests who were all being catered to. But we were definitely treated like we were second-class and unimportant. I will never go back and I urge you to make other plans, if you are considering going to Crush.

I hardly ever leave reviews...maybe twice in my life. But this time is a must. I typically go to this bar because it is around the corner from my home and the staff is always so nice. Not to mention DJ Enigma is an awesome DJ. I also bring my friends when they come into town from Los Angeles. But last nights experience was both disrespectful and distasteful. I have never been so disrespected in my life. Last night the owner and GM happened to be there. The Owner...a really nice guy. Carries himself well around others as I was impressed. The GM however, very opposite. He yelled at the DJ in front of guest, he also told me F@#$ You and then had the neeve to tell the DJ to never let me speak to him again as if he was God himself. NOW, I happen to mange about 150 employees across The Woodlands, Tomball and Spring area and know from experience this is disrespectful and a big No No in professionalism. I am also in the music business and have never seen anything like this at any club Ive attended. I will not be returning nor will my guest or friends. Again, the staff there is Amazing. The GM tanked the place for me. Side note: next time introduce yourself as the GM, pull your employee aside and speak to him with taste and professionalism.

Had my husband surprise 30th bday party here Saturday May 16th. Rhonda was our waitress and she greeted us with a friendly and warm greeting from the time my husband and I came in. She made sure we were taken care of. It got a little crowded at some point, but that was the same weekend as the marathon so lots of visitors were in there...no matter what Rhonda was ahead of the game and took care of all of our guest needs. We did not want a rowdy or club environment, our cabana was sectioned off but over all its a great place to eat, lounge around, laugh, and dance if you want to clean music (after 10pm it picked up)..we were out of there by 11:30pm. Vance, the general manager worked with me from the time we first meet days prior. Such a nice and respectful guy he also made sure that everything fell in place, and that we were satisfied. My husband, myself and our guest had such a great time we made memorable moments that night we will not forget he couldnt have asked for a better way to celebrate his bday. And we will be back! Thanks to the Crush Lounge Team. -Nina-

Had our wedding reception recently here at Crush and couldnt have been happier! It was up on the rooftop, which served as a beautiful spot to take pictures and mingle with our guests. I explained how I would like everything set up and got exactly how I pictured it. The manager, Vance, is a doll and put up with all of my "bridezilla" jitters eloquently and promptly. The food was awesome. Vance helped work out a package for me that fit my budget, took care of my guests, and everyone left happy. Even when it started raining, the staff was quick to help with umbrellas and save the food and decor. We had to move the party inside downstairs eventually, but score for us, it was a blast! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a high-end reception or party venue in The Woodlands without The Woodlands area normal pricetag. Thank you Crush!!!

The ambiance is definately present, music is good. There was a little mixture of ages, young with a teeny-bopper vibe all the way up to the bottle blonde type with the older man which I dont mind as long as a bopper doesnt act too ridiculous. Need a little more bass in the speakers as the open roof top takes some of the live music feeling away. One of the bartenders took 10 mins to get my drink and would drink and sip behind the bar while stopping every few seconds to blurt out a "look at me" coment or flirt with a girl who was also waiting for her drinks. He was terribly immature, slow and VERY obnoxious. His co-workers behind the bar even talked about how slow he was when he wasnt around. He needs to be let go as hed rather drink than work. Not sure how that gets past management, but they were downstairs.
