If I could, I would give this place zero stars. Where to even begin. First of all, I purchased general admission tickets for a country concert there thinking we would be able to see the performance. Boy was I wrong. We get in and see the "General Admission" area was maybe 1/4 of the total venue and there was no way we possible could have seen the performance as it was stuck in the way back by the stairs. So, we had to purchase the "VIP" upgrades in order to actually see the performance. Here again was another problem. The prices for the ticket upgrades were different for male and female patrons, but if you purchased them through the authorized retailer online, they were the same price for both patrons. Discrimination much? Oh and then there was the concert. All the tickets and promotions said the show started at 8pm. Yea, it did not start until 9. To me and many others it seemed like a swindle in order for the patrons to spend more money in their bar. My finance and I at this point decided that we were not going to buy any drinks nor were we ever going to come back to this venue. We had planned on having a few drinks while we enjoyed the concert. Instead, all we wanted to do was go home. Also during the concert, one patron essentially jumped up on stage to get a picture with one of the performers. There was literally no crown control to get her off the stage. Give the performer credit for getting away and not letting the individual get a picture. We are avid country music fans and concert goers and have always wanted to come to Whiskey Tango as they usually get some pretty good, lesser known artists to perform. This is very poorly run and will never step foot in there again. If you are looking for a more intimate venue for country concerts I would spend the extra time and drive to Coyote Willies in Lincoln instead. The people there at least know how to treat their patrons and run a business!

Could I give it ZERO stars? This is just how much Whiskey Tango stinks as a venue. Last night, we were told doors would open at 6pm, with the show – four bands, mind you – starting at 7pm. When we got there, at about 6:20, a line was forming and the bouncers at the door said, “7PM. GRRRR.” As bouncers are wont to do, I suppose. Well, at 7:45, we were STILL WAITING as we watched band equipment, ice, and cases of beer being trucked in. These are all things that should have been done well ahead of time. It felt like we were watching them build the entire building brick by brick while we waited! We were finally let in the doors at about 8:15, but not let to the stage area until about half an hour later. And there *was* no actual stage, just a tiny, cordoned off area. And I do mean tiny. And crammed with equipment. And there were no chairs!! So we all crammed into the small area to hear the bands. They didn’t actually start the show until about 8:45. Worst of all, the power went out while the bands were playing -- TWICE. To sum up: WORST. VENUE. EVER. WILL *NEVER* GO BACK.

This bar seems to cater to only white people. I (white guy) brought my african friend to the club. She was the only darker colored person there besides one employee. We were relaxing and having a good time; when we decided to go on the dance floor, within a matter of minutes a couple came dancing wildly/recklessly around us. She ended up getting hit on the shoulder by the swinging boot of the girl. Others around us stared in disgust at us while we danced. She still has a mark after three days and pain. One manager and at least 2 other employees played off the incident and showed no concern for what happened. The music and beer were nice, but how can we go back after treatment like this?

Well, this place really knows how to RUIN the image of a club. First, you have zerocustomer service, (until the owners son gets mad or probably jealous of ya and has you thrown out. Thats a nightly thing. You have mostly nasty girls with used belly shirts giving out overpriced and underliquored shots or jello. Theyre sick. Their lightshow is from what appears the eighties. Overall this place really sucks. It took me twenty minutes once to get a drink, UNACCEPTABLE. And the fact that the guy bill who acts like the boss is a total creep, doesnt help.

The bourbon or whiskey tango whatever you call it I thought it was a country bar??? You shouldnt let people bring their drinks on the floor that is a lawsuit waiting to happen when someone spills and someone else falls! And having the servers serve shots on the dance floor really?!?! How disrespectful to the people who are actually trying to dance! The dancefloor isnt a place for social hour its for dancing.... Isnt that why you have the barriers/drink holders in place?? Come on now get it together!

Went here last night for my big 21. Lets just say I had a blast! Friendly staff, security at the front doors were on point. And most of all hands down best bar in Omaha. I had left for an hour to check out other bars, ended up going to BillyFrogs, and their service was trash with an over packed building. My buddies and I went back to Whisky Tango around 11:30pm and ended up staying the rest of the night until 2:00am! If I could review this bar as 100% I would!

An okay bar, not much has changed from the "Whiskey Tango" days. Drinks are still pricey, long bar lines (when it is busy), no real crowds or party until after 12am, sloppy drunks grinding on each other. But, we did get free shots as a big bachelorette party arrived and the dj was able to tailor the music to the crowd. The big cooling fans and courteous security was also a plus

The bar is fine but in a BAD Part of town. Unfortunately four of my friends were jump out side the bar and was in a coma from his injuries my older brother were jumped also myself. I am familiar with the area an will no longer frequent the down there after dark. Now Media like to speak of this because of local politics and commerce I believe?

My beautiful daughter was invited to work at the college world series for this puke only to find out she had to wear a bikini. She has a fabulous figure but has also had 2 babies. No way will she be subject to this. I wonder how long the 19 year olds that he hired will last. What a pig. Save your money and drink somewhere else.

This is by far the worst bar Ive been to. Cant even get the right money back. When i brought it to the managers attention I was told that I was just trying to get free drinks. All I wanted was the correct change back to top it all off I was asked to leave.

All other bars downtown you will sweat your balls off with a bad male to female ratio! However, Whiskey Tango has cool air and plenty of females. And, FYI Chelsea will make your alcoholic dreams come true (within state limits,
