I went and saw the newest Mission Impossible movie here and honestly I kept asking myself why I hadnt been there before. Its sort of hidden on Ridgeway...dont ask me specifics. Im directionally challenged! Thank goodness for GPS. Its in an office park type complex and doesnt look like a movie theatre at all. After you buy a ticket, theres a concession stand. You can get your standard concessions OR they have the grill menu there as well. Pretty standard...hamburger, salad, wings, pizza, etc. You get a number and tell them what movie youll be seeing. Theres four screens only here. The seats are AMAZING. Big, plush leather chairs. When your food is ready they bring it in to you. My ONLY complaint is that there were no tables to eat off of. But I will say, the food was better than I thought it would be. Its definitely an enjoyable experience. Its a theater that tends to mix it up with indies and blockbuster movies. A great movie going experience!

I love this theaters seats, but the screens are small, and its a good place to see a movie if youre frustrated with peoples constant need to be on their phones at full luminosity during a movie. The crowd is usually older, much, much older, and they dont seem to screen movies that attract a younger crowd. Also Ive been to several film fests of different varieties and had a great time. The seats are wide and have a tray table built in for their food service. Also beer and wine is served here. Ive never had any food except popcorn and a soda. Their prices have gone up on concessions which is outta sight to begin with!

This theater is a Ruby in the rubble (in Memphis). I would like to thank them for bringing some of the best movies I watched (like Samsara, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Robot & Frank etc.). They renovated the theater with high end luxurious extra wide leather seating with lots of leg room. Sadly it looks like this theater seems to be a secret – some of those movies pretty much watched alone (Robot & Frank, Samsara etc.) or with couple of highly matured audience with a classic taste to brainstorm after the show. I believe this rare jewel should be nurtured and enriched by well-wishers in Memphis.

My wife and I call this the "smart people theater" because it shows smart movies and very few blockbusters. It is for the well mannered -- dare I say it -- enlightened and perhaps more mature (not older, you can be 21 and mature) and discerning viewer. If you are tired of the loud talkers, the cell phone beepers, the constant crunchy eaters and slurpers, and you just want to escape for a couple of hours into another place, this movie theater is for you. Yes, the seating and the rest are all exceptional as well. It has an old Hollywood feel to it. Good job Malco Ridgeway Four! Bravo!

Spent $27 for 1 ticket, maybe 4oz glass of wine, a cheese plate that had rotten blueberries, and a pretzel. (All way over priced but thats movie theaters now) I asked for a cup of ice because I have medical condition that causes my throat to get very dry. I am not allowed to bring my own water. I was told that they have to charge for everything. Since when do you prefer to loose the sale albeit only $27 than allow your customers something as simple a water? Excluding my $8 ticket you made $19 for less than $5 worth of goods.

Ridgeway is a low key 4 screen theater with the best seating in town. Even when the theater is full you dont feel surrounded by people. Some seats even have a small ledge or surface to set food and items on. The screens are smaller, but they play movies you cant usually find around town so youll catch a fair share of indie and foreign films. They serve alcohol and have actual desserts which makes for a good date night.

Nice theater I really like the chairs as they are wider than the typical Malco seating. You can actually order food here and they will bring it out to you after you find a seat. I think its ridiculous that Malco wont bring an IMAX to this city and I have to drive two hours to Little Rock every month. But I guess thats what happens when you have a monopoly in a city like they have.

Tucked away within the i-240 office parks, this 4 theatre venue plays smaller films and attracts a more mature crowd. Prices are pretty standard. One awesome and subtle aspect is the concession offerings. This place sells beer/wine and "gourmet" snacks. These items are not hawked very loudly but do carry a monopolized price tag ($6-8 beers). Very comfortable atmosphere.

I love catching an independent movie here! This movie theater is small (4 screens), but so comfy. It was recently renovated so the seats are plush and larger than the average movie theater seat. The concession stand features a selection of wine and beer in addition to meals cooked in their kitchen, which you can eat while you watch your movie. Its wonderful!

Went to watch new James Bond movie last night, ordered food to be brought to my date and myself but never received it after watching a movie that lasted over 2 hrs. Went back to concession counter to get a refund and manager didnt even put my refund in my hand. Asked for number of his supervisor, but he gave us the wrong email account instead!

I can only reiterate what others have said! This and Theater on the Square are my two favorites in the Malco chain. Its worth the drive from Southaven. Thank you Malco for running these independent films at these locations. I wish you would expand these to at least one screen in all your theaters!

This is by far the best theater in Memphis. It is small and cozy with the best theater seats ever. They serve great food and my personal favorite... WINE!!! The crowd is an older and calmer crowd so you dont have to worry about rambunctious teens beating you down after the movie. I love this theater.

The parent of the Forest Hill Irene location, its always a leisure to watch a movie at Ridgeway Cinema. Unfortunately, when I went, they were not serving anything from the grill, and the popcorn was a tad bit too salty (typical, right?). But all in all, it is one of my favorite places to go.

You sometimes forget its there but you will not forget when you go. Seats are soft and spacious. They serve wine and food. Beware - matinee ends at 4:00 after that the tickets are $9.00. Overall, I wasnt too upset that I missed the matinee by 10 minutes because the ambiance was 1st class.

Love this theaters layout. Stadium seating is comfortable and people do not step on your feet when they get up and come back during the movie. Have yet to have a bad view from any seat. The concession stand has nicer snacks than just popcorn and candy bars.

This is my favorite movie theater in the Memphis area. It is a small theater with only 4 screens. The seats are so comfortable. If you are hungry for more than popcorn and candy they have you covered. They will even bring your food when it is ready.
