Extremely disappointed in the round of golf we just played at Venetian Bay. We called the phone number on the website to book a tee time and was told that the rate was $39 and the young lady on the phone let us know that the greens would be aierated. No problem, we are experienced golfers and understand that. We got to the club and there were no cars in the parking lot and a large tractor was aierating one of the fairways in view of the clubhouse. One of our golfers asked if all the fairways would be punched and the gentleman in the pro shop said "I dont think so, maybe only a couple." Turns out every single fairway was punched except 15, 17, and 18. The greens were in deplorable condition, we only made one putt outside 10 feet all day. We expressed concern at the turn about the bad conditions of the course and were met with no remorse and even less after the round when we let them know of the bad course conditions. We dont mind that the greens were punched but the lack of concern or responsibility was disappointing and I hope that if you are considering making a tee time here, you will find a way to contact the pro shop directly and find out the real story. Apparently the girl who took our tee time does not work in the pro shop and probably isnt even on site.

We played the course on June 30th 2017 at 7 am tee time using Group Golfer Voucher but they would not honor the voucher. We played the course 2 weeks earlier using the same vouchers for a 7 ish tee time and it was not a problem. On June 30th we were told that the voucher could only be used after 1pm. We showed the proshop the voucher that said no restrictions but must be used by Sept. 15. The proshop agreed but stated that the previous Monday new management took over and made the new ruling. As a result we had to pay the regular price and was told to contact group golfer. By the way the course was average but you could not play out of a single bunker. It is apparent that the new management doesnt know how to treat the public and with all the other good courses in the area is going to wish they treated the public better. By the way, Group Golfer was apologetic and was more than willing to make things right, more than can be said for Venetian Bay!

0 stars just bc of how arrogant the guy was in the proshop that works the cash register. Played here many times ok course nothing to complain or brag about there. A friend and I tried to squeeze in a quick round on a questionable weather day. Unfortunately on the 2nd hole tee box it started pouring went inside for raincheck and was told they would only issue a rain check for 9 holes since we started the round. The few times I went in for rain checks over the years at different courses I havent ever been told this and probably would have accepted it without feeling the need for a review if he didnt come across so pompous. Maybe he used to work for the proshop at August National idk. Im never surprised when I hear this same complaint from others when we are talking about local courses. Im sure I will play again here at some point but definitely not in any rush to use this rain check for 9 holes after paying for 18.

After booking through GolfNow and paying the $10 to hold the time we had a change of plans and ended up heading further south and decided to play another course. So I called Venetian and cancelled the time no more than 10 minutes after I had just booked it. No big deal i knew I was out the $10 and was perfectly fine with that. But come to find out they went ahead and charged my credit card for the full amount for 4 players. I was shocked when going through my statements to see this charge for $216! And shame on me for not checking my statement sooner but having talked to the course and canceling I did not have any concern that I would still be charged. I am not the type of person that trolls on the internet and writes bad reviews for businesses, as a matter of fact this is my first review. This kind of business practice is unacceptable and others need to know.

Played course on 3-19-17! Terrible Course fairways dry like playing on a driveway greens full of weeds Price is way to High!!! The starter was rude we specifically reserved a 2 some he said we HAD to be put with another 2 some!!! Well I said Ill just go get my money back! the starters tune changed ... he then went on to tell my husband and I " he can do what he wants and let us play a 2 some ... only after blah blah because thats all i heard from the starter was blah blah.. What he said made no sense anyway! For 55.00 pp to play the course should have been in a lot bette shape than it was! I dont know who is doing the surveys from 3 weeks ago.. maybe employees to get people to play!! stay away a big big big rip off!!

BE CAREFUL!! If you leave something in the cart after a round, it will be stolen and no accountability on the part of the Pro Shop Staff or Management. Pathetic service. Also, sent a 2-some in the middle of a large tournament group on the back 9 during a golf outing. The course itself is probably a 3/5 and their restaurant staff is friendly, but their Operational Team and Management is something that should concern you if you decide to play there. BE AWARE and DONT FORGET ANYTHING OR IT WILL BE STOLEN WITH NO ONE EVEN LOOKING INTO IT!!!!

The clubhouse at the Venetian Bay Golf Club is really nice especially if you like a lot of dark wood. The floor and the bar are a dark wood and the table and chairs are the same to match. When we first walked in we could actually smell wood. The menu is simple and made up of mainly sandwiches, salads, and the like; however, the food is surprisingly delicious. The wait staff was also very attentive. My fiance and I plan to have our wedding here next year, so Ill make sure to come back and review it as a wedding venue as well. :)

Course in good shape not great but very playable tee to green. Greens putt much better than they look. Plenty of water but most only come in play with a very bad shot. Fairly wide open and forgiving. Pace of play was very good. Enjoyed the day. Good value.

Very rewarding, with an excellent staff, and awesome facilities. Played with my son and will definitely be back again to play soon. Even with playing during course maintenance you could still enjoy the beauty of this track.

62.50 on Easter was steep, but it only dropped to 60.00 on a Monday. Place is complete robbery for a mediocre course. Do yourself a favor and drive 25 mins to Indigo Lakes.

Course is in poor shape. Proshop staff is not friendly. Managed by Integrity Golf, who only cares about money and not the experience. Not junior golfer friendly.
